It would be Dam hilarious if this Bakayoko doesn’t sign for us and it was someone else , seriously all you lot arguing over this lad need to get a grip! He hasn’t signed yet , if i remember rightly there were a load of belter posts aimed at Lumley when he first came in as he wasn’t deemed good enough or had enough experience, look how that ended , the same twats slagging him off were Dam moaning that we didn’t sign him permanently!!!!!

It was 45 appearances and many of those came from a wider position. He also got 13 assists. Bakayoko has played at that level and got 2 goals in 11 games. If DC wants him that's enough for me. If DC had wanted him he'd of signed him early in the season, like the other signings. It's been clear from what DC has said that he hasn't been able to sign who he wanted to. Poundland it is for the most important cog in the machine! |

Doidge scoring for fun today - surely the Harrison and Bodin funds should go towards a marquee signing or are we in for a winter of discontent? Adds a few more quid to the asking price! Doesn't sound like they'd given DC the required money for even signing a player from Forest Green anyway. Looks like we'll only be able to afford other peoples cast offs. At the risk of sounding obvious, for a club like us the time to pick up Doidge was a couple of years ago & give him a try. Or maybe when his contract runs out / down, but even then it's a bit late for VFM. Pointless buying a player on fire, 1 div below us. That's just not us at the moment (well, hardly ever has been). |

The goal brings some respectability to the scoreline, but DC has to just drop Nichols now, bring in a couple of strikers, a leader at the back and a left full back. Then we have a chance to really use that great midfield he has assembled to play football and win matches instead of always chasing games because we concede to easily.

We still desperately need a commanding defender as well as 2 strikers, then we’ll be decent.

Oh dear, I was hoping only £150k plus usual add on. Still that's what we pay a Head of Recruitment for....does he get a bonus for signings? Are they paying us the £150k to take him off their hands? I wouldn't sign him for free if offered. Agreed, he the sort of player you would normally expect to pick up on a free or for a token fee but guess words out we are panicking so prices rocket. Guess his agent will push his wages up on Monday if he thinks we are desperate. It's like watching an episode of Rip-off Britain. |

We did try and sign him 2 or 3 years ago. He turned us down. |
