So, Sky Sports have lost La Liga; BT Sports have lost Serie A & UFC; & the BBC have lost the PGA Championship.
Who the fook are Eleven Sports??? According to the Guardian, they're a British company already active in seven countries, and it casts itself as an outsider taking on established broadcasting giants. Founded by Andrea Radrizzani, the owner of Leeds United, and run by Marc Watson, the man who won the Champions League for BT, Eleven sees its future success as being determined by an ability to shake things up...
And the price of watching all this? Apparently it's going to be in the region of £70 per annum - and it'll be online coverage, not available as an extra TV channel...
As an avid Serie A fan, I'm more than a little miffed.

UFC, Spanish football, Italian football and golf?
Any chance they could pick up athletics and tennis too then they will have the market in awful viewing covered!

Belated bump but gotta say, I think their coverage is nigh-on excellent. La Liga is basically the same as it was on Sky (even the same commentators for the most part) and Serie A is decent too. I think the quality is brilliant too, especially given it's on a laptop - effectively HD if not actually!
It's annoying having to pay another £6/m or whatever for another streaming/sports package service but so far it's worth the money IMO.

Maybe pay more if Netflix will get involved. Pay for Sky, then BT Sport..................nah. Competition was meant to drive the costs down for the customer. All it has done is increase them !
