You might be right but just remind me how many football league goals this formidable trio have notched up in the last 12 months? We cant afford anyone who has scored lots of goals in the football league full stop. Why not, we sold a good L1 striker for £750k and if we cant replace him with someone in L2 such as Stockley (for example) then we are obviously selling our players on the cheap. |

Because dc told us we cannot afford such players,he even named stockley. Just like most small clubs if we sell a player for say £800k we cant spend it all as were losing money. Its just normal practise from southampton to accrington. |

There is no great attraction for stockley to come here to a slightly bigger club,same with most of the names mentioned. We need to find the next stockley or taylor etc for nothing. Maybe reilly or mensah or the walsall lad people are mentioning. |

This trio of strikers you name have scored so few league goals that they could double or treble their total goal tally from last season in a single afternoon. Surely part of the £900k receiveable on sales in this window alone could still secure a player who has scored more than one league goal in an entire season. You defend the indefensible by saying full stop. |
