According to DC:
“We are in advanced talks with a potential number nine - I don’t really want to say too much more.”
“We are hoping to get the deal done before the weekend but that can hit the buffers.
“Then we will see what is left of the pot of gold to see if I can get another one in which will probably be a loan after that.
“The transfer window shuts on the ninth of August and then you have got the loan window after that so like I said we will get this bit of business done and I would certainly like two nines but we will see what is left in the budget.
“If we get the deal done for the number nine before the weekend he will certainly be in the squad on Saturday.”
Regarding adding to other areas of the squad he says:
“Maybe I will have to go to loans, I did want to come away from them. But if there is the right potential one, I’d be open to it”
Sounds promising to me.

Excellent. All we need is a little bit of communication.

I assume so, shows how pointless the meltdown over us potentially signing Healey on loan was.

No doubt he will join the team when the bus stops to pick him up on the way to Peterboro'. So a quick look at the road map might give us a clue

I assume so, shows how pointless the meltdown over us potentially signing Healey on loan was. That depends on 1) whoever we sign is not seen as being inferior to Healey 2) it's not Healey on a permanent given that Cardiff fans seem to think he's joining us! I just hope Newporrt haven't mugged us over Armond's fee as they've realised we're desperate.
