Scores some goals im his first season and to be fair I never doubted his commitment to the cause. The issue was the squad balance not the standard of player IMO. Wish him all the best - hate seeing him in Red.

At Bristol? Thought you were better than that Matty. Was great in his first season but then injury and Ward flogging him to death as a target man meant he was mostly in effective last season. He was actually quite good with the ball at his feet.

Decent enough player but needs a goal scorer alongside him. That is something he never had. Not happy about him calling us 'Bristol' though.

I read it as when I was in Bristol - as he referred to us as Bristol Rovers earlier on in his interview.

I'm still convinced that if he hadn't been brought back into the side when we were on that 6 game unbeaten run last season we would have stayed up. We went into free fall soon as he came back, that said I don't blame him for that I blame Ward and then later Clarke for keeping him there. Never really rated him though I'd be surprised if he scores a lot in league 1 always thought he was very predictable.

I still love you, Matty. Easily my favourite player the last few years. Such a nice bloke too, still chat to him on social media. He sent me two signed shirts, one at the end of each of the last two seasons. Committed to the cause and hard working. A model pro.

Matty harrold always gave his all for the cause and therefore I wish him all the best. Not one of my favorite players but certainly wasn't a bad player . As for his goalscoring record,IMO he didn't miss that many chances just there weren't that many created for him. Certainly IMO looked more likely to score than say Matty taylor or Jamie White at the present time BUT again IMO Cunnington is a better player. Good luck Matty.
