Wasn't aware AJIB business not doing well, but that may certainly explain why interest in BRFC may has declined, bigger fish to fry at home. And perhaps an indication that not everything they touch turns to gold after all - I believe they purchased HSBC's Jordanian operations, so maybe there was a reason HSBC were selling . . . Excellent summary by swissgas and Strange Gas - but I am sure this will not all end in disaster (for the Gas at least) - a bright future beckons Care to expand, any substance to this view?

There is, but you would not expect expansion on an open forum. I merely seek to reassure the doubters and remind everybody that the Al-Qadi family are honourable people who want the best for our Club, and also that despite what people say on the forum about the current debt - OUR football club is worth a darn site more than the value of the Memorial Stadium. (even despite annual losses)

Where in that statement have I said otherwise? - you read too much into so little!

I would take all figures written on public record as to what the Al Qadi family are actually worth with a pinch of salt.
Not all wealth is available to everyone who can use google.

(even despite annual losses) Isn't that the line Wael's been trying for month's with the potential buyer it appears w/o much success? It begs the question why NH was forced to sell the club for £6m if it's now worth over £15m!

The value was still the same, but it's about what could be borrowed/repaid against that value that's changed. I think.....

Higgs wasn't forced to sell anything. His mum made him sell his first motorbike. Not because it was dangerous but because he looked ridiculous on a Honda Step-through.
