I just wondered if the first team had actually trained on the "New Pitch?". there was so many misplaced passes on Saturday, I am beginning to wonder if the pitch at the Mem is 5 x faster than the pitch they train on. Not looking for excuses but I think the first team should train on it occasionally.
Also, why do football players train in the mornings when they play their games in the afternoons and evenings?

What about the away team they don’t,it’s no good trying to make excuses for them lpgas.

Would make sense for the players to train on it once a week. The pitch much quicker than it was last season. Perhaps would even make the players more comfortable.

You do have to question why they spent so much on doing up the pitch, if they're going to play long ball football like they did against Southend on Saturday. I'm not in the DC out camp yet, he has earned the right to be given time to turn it around. We played some decent stuff against Pompey and were unlucky to lose. But the other 3 games I've been to, Peterborough, Stanley and Southend, we created very little and played poorly. There's only so much you can blame on the owners and the budget. He's signed some decent players on paper, but Upson and Rodman have been disappointing so far. We had some of our best performances against Championship clubs in the League Cup last season. Lets hope with the pressure off we can restore a bit of pride at Loftus Road tomorrow. UTG
