Poor PR by Bristol Bears in re-Tweeting it - don't they realise that a lot of their fans support Rovers? clearly the rugby didn’t think that through! They could actually lose a few fans!

Not really, not without Dack anyway.
Didn't realise he was missing. Still, they're focusing on us instead of that...
Yeah Dack has been a naughty boy; Dack in court

The funniest thing is Lansdown could literally buy them into the Premier League and take advantage of all the riches and exposure that goes with it.........and he chooses not to, and instead sell their best players!

I think it was Oscar Wilde who said something like:-
'the only thing worse than being talked about, is not being talked about'
or was it Homer Simpson.

If it hadn't been highlighted here I wouldn't have noticed, I don't follow them on the social media...

I don't have a problem with this in the slightest, this is just banter. They(fans) have and could have done a lot worse than that like burning down stands or spraying memorial gates

Just a bit of a laugh , it’s football , it’s what it’s all about , anyway it proves that we’re always in their thoughts no matter how big they think they are ! No, it's a franchised, co-ordinates cyber attack involving the Bears designed to demoralize. Bears? Coordinating a cyber attack?! Good grief!! It was bad enough when they started stealing picnics, now they're going to start phishing emails and promising us 500.million if we send them our bank details?? I blame the zoos.

Bristol City are the herpes of Twitter, their prepubescent goal gifs are number one for cringe worthy embarrassment. Bristol Sports marketing as a whole needs to ease off and act like the community club it should be, not spewing cheap gimmicks to generate likes.

Despite also sharing on the Bears Twitter to maximise their reach this tweet didn't do as well as our tweet about them not reaching the second round of the league cup.

I imagine they hired a few 20 years olds with no connection to Bristol as their marketing guys and have resulted with comical/cringey gifs. Little bit embarrassing as they are supposed to be a professional outfit, but still i am not easily offended to give a flying.

Their club gained millions of interactions based on the gifs last season, especially with the ties against the Manchester clubs. I wish we had done it first but now it's something I don't want us to do, too many clubs have followed them and done the same.

Well i don't think the gifs helped them gain ties against the Manchester clubs. The rest of the football clubs keep telling them to stick thier gifs up their A$$. They were a desperate attempt to gain a few likes.

Yes they got boring and tedious after awhile but the numbers speak for themselves. The fact that other clubs started to copy them shows how successful it was. 40K retweets and 60K likes for the winning goal against Man Utd when usually it would have got about 2/3K tops. Think what you like about them but the marketing/social media team did exactly what they're paid to do and then some.

There's more than 2-3k Man Utd haters using twitter, hence the high numbers.

Haha all the money Lansdown has spent there and they still crow about a narrow win in the League Cup over a dreadful side destined for non-league. Massive club.
