I personally would not be impressed if MS was given the job!!! Too right Marcus would struggle to manage bath city let alone us... Sad to say but if it was anyone else but Darrell we would be thinking of not attending games in protest... Also think it’s a bad idea to have hamer on commentary as leaves a bitter taste in your mouth listening to him moan about the team I agree on all counts, Hamers commentary is like listening to Mr Bean. Anyway f**k it I’ve done half a case of Stella’s listening to that wonderful game so I’m off to the local now to get smashed! UTG |

Whilst im totally watered off with this season it would be a very sad day for this club if dc was sacked, give him time and support and hopefully we can survive another season in div 1.

But who can answer the conundrum that if we can’t, allegedly, afford players of a particular standard how can we afford to pay off a manager and bring in a new one who will, undoubtedly, wish to bring in new players of his own choosing? You’d only bring in a new manager if you thought they could get more out of the squad they have. I would have said not possible but beginning to wonder. DC has built this squad and made some weird decisions along the way (eg. Nichols, James, Mensah, Craig, Lawrence, gaffney all down to him). He has to make more of what he’s got, else his equity is going down to pan with our fortunes Yep. He has made some poor signings at league one level and even bringing in an HoR hasn't helped him. Other clubs like Blackpool operate on a shoestring far more successfully. |

Such a inept performance today, really don't know where we go from here, i suppose just wait for the winter transfer market and hope to get some loan players to dig us out of this mess, Btw all those who gave Leadbitter 1 out of 10 last week, i will be interested to see how you mark Nichols this week?

Funny thing is whilst Leadbitters Kelly’s crossing was poor last week they were actually getting into be positions to at least attempt to put crosses in. Today there were literally no attempts |

Problem is if your always selling your best players you are never going to be able to replace them with the same quality, it’s impossible. You have to hold onto at least some of them! Similar to what I was thinking. There surely has got to be a point where it catches up with you. Plus, for whatever reason, losing good first team players like brown & gaffney. And LBH when Taylor left, and Bodin, they were both on fire - replacing a good player on poor form is hard, but replacing good players in great form is very very hard. Football is now 'entertainment', so all the entertainers from Lge 1 & 2 are being taken away, leaving us with very few moments to even get excited about. |

I agree with everything but why do you single out Nichols? Everyone of them was sh** today! Why not Reilly who came on and did as much as Nichols when on? Or lines for doing nothing for 90 mins? |

I think on paper we have the players. No tactics and no direction from the manager. Formation is a joke. 433!! It has never worked for us. Nicholls is as lost cause so to bring him on is laughable. Payne was utter rubbish, i could jump higher than him and i'm a fat bastard |

I keep thinking back to Halifax when I looked at our bench and thought any team in that league would die to have such players in their team let alone the bench. That was a great side DC was able to put together considering the position we were in. With momentum determination and a lot of luck mostly the same side took us up again which was a fantastic achievement, We got by last year, but our innadequacies were starting to become apparent in truth we might even have been relegated if not for Ellis Harrison and now he's gone along with Taylor, Bodin and Gaffers.
I can't blame DC for where we find ourself he has not been given the funds to compete in this league the same as Trolls and he will probably go the same way as will we if there is no investment.
I hope by some miracle we avoid the drop this season because I think we will drop straight through to the conference with what we have here now.
