Such a inept performance today, really don't know where we go from here, i suppose just wait for the winter transfer market and hope to get some loan players to dig us out of this mess, Btw all those who gave Leadbitter 1 out of 10 last week, i will be interested to see how you mark Nichols this week? I agree with everything but why do you single out Nichols? Everyone of them was sh** today! Why not Reilly who came on and did as much as Nichols when on? Or lines for doing nothing for 90 mins? Dead right about Lines, a so called fan and doesnt appear to be bothered most of the time

Fine, providing you invest the fees in adequate replacements. We've never done that though, not even in the roughly 130 odd years before the Aq's arrived. In which case - you might as well hang on to them for that couple of months.
I'm being devil's advocate, as I don't really think that. There is no point in hanging on to players who want away, so the seller is in a cleft stick.

I think on paper we have the players. No tactics and no direction from the manager. Formation is a joke. 433!! It has never worked for us. Nicholls is as lost cause so to bring him on is laughable. Payne was utter rubbish, i could jump higher than him and i'm a fat bastard I didn't know you were fat.

We are not getting battered
We just need to find that elusive front partnership and stick with it for a few games
DC needs to trust his judgement. At the moment it looks like he doesn't trust any of them!
We have some must win home games coming up.... Coventry, Walsall, Wimbledon, Oxford....
We must win 2 or 3 of those or else I think we can all agree it's going to be a relegation scrap.

Having watched 101 minutes of so called football on ifollow, i can safely say that was by far the worst performance by a Rovers team in the last 5 years and i include our relegation season to the National league

I agree on all counts, Hamers commentary is like listening to Mr Bean. Anyway f**k it I’ve done half a case of Stella’s listening to that wonderful game so I’m off to the local now to get smashed! UTG You’ve done half a case of Stella in and your not smashed ??!! Go and drink the pub dry and speak to you tomorrow when your not hungover. 😂 What he didn't say was that it was a 4 pack of Stella....

I just mean we are not conceding 4 or 5, that is a sign a team is shot. I'm confident this team will pull through, it's still early days, I just wish DC would give his own best 11 a run together..... my worry is he isn't sure and chopping every week isn't the answer!

I said on this forum a month ago the rot started after 2018 January window . From early March to the end of the season we couldn't win a game and cracks were appearing. I reckon we only won 1 game in about the last 11 last season. Then some people said " Last season means nothing judge us on the first 10 of this season". The truth is in our last 20 games we won 2 games which is truly shocking.
We sold Billy Bodin and brought in so called big name players who have contributed very little. When Ellis went I told some good mates " We will struggle badly" In fact I would argue the goals Ellis scored keep us up : took the pressure off and hide us in mid table.
We all know we sold our best players and most of the replacements haven't worked. So my question is : Can we carry on winning 1 game in every 10 with DC ( even though he is our hero ) ? . Can he motivate the new signings in the next month or so ? . Or is it a case most of the vanarama mob have moved on and we remember D.C for the good old days ?.

Similar to what I was thinking. There surely has got to be a point where it catches up with you. Plus, for whatever reason, losing good first team players like brown & gaffney. And LBH when Taylor left, and Bodin, they were both on fire - replacing a good player on poor form is hard, but replacing good players in great form is very very hard. Football is now 'entertainment', so all the entertainers from Lge 1 & 2 are being taken away, leaving us with very few moments to even get excited about. I really don't want to go down this rd again, but I'd rather get a fee for them, than letting them go for nowt a few months later. Yes, but that's obvious. I'd prefer to have the facilities & ambition that means they would like to stay and sign a new contract, and hopefully get us up the league's. That's the only way we'll ever stop it / improve.

I assume you didn't watch the game as if Smith had been in goal we would have easily lost 3 or 4 nil, the fact that this is the second consecutive away match where we haven't tested the goalie, bar a pen, is a major concern. Not sure if DC has lost the plot or all part of a concerted effort to get Wael to sell up. Hopefully for our sakes it's the latter otherwise it looks like we're heading back to Div 2 next season. If I were DC I'd tell Payne and Rodman to stay away from the club.

Something seems very very wrong.
Lose next Saturday and it'll be that toxic feeling from the Buckle/McGhee days.
