I have to disagree with you there. In my humble opinion M&S hasn't changed at all in the last few years ! well we know you are quite backward over in Germany..... M&S closed down over here. However, we still have Woolworth's and C&A....eat yer heart out !

Just been told that the construction company based in Southampton area may be the same construction company who are building the training facility at UWE....Have no idea if this is correct and don't know how to check who is building that but would be interesting if indeed this was the case!

Having a quick google brought up Swinhay who are based in Wotton-under-Edge partnering with Verde Recreo who is a turf company based in Wick. Doesn't sound like a "Massive" construction company based in Southampton / Hampshire. My guess is somebody heard that a "Football Facility" is being built at UWE, put 2 and 2 together and made 15.

Verde Recreo Ltd ?? They might lay the pitch, but won't build a stadium.

Swinhay, hmmm Responsible for Swinhay house. £30 million.... on a house! It is impressive though. Would make an ideal bond villains pad. Already been used as 'Appledore' in Sherlock.

I’ve also heard similar today (Tuesday)but Higgs and Ed Ware weren’t mentioned, the new owners weren’t divulged to me which is not to say it isn’t them. Makes me wonder why Strve Hamer, Mike Turner and Martyn Starnes are still at the club if this is the case - they have no vested interest unlike Wael - their positions are untenable.

Or maybe, just maybe there is no takeover at all and their roles are important to the future development of the club? Silly thought I know.

SH is most likely brokering the deal in Wael's absence overseas, MT looking to make another killing when dealing with the legal side of the sale/transfer, not sure why MS is at the club to but we thought that when Sexton also turned p, by coincidence, from Plymouth before the ALQ's bought the club.

Uwe have re submitted application for a Stadium. Deal to sell club is virtually a done deal. New owners will be a construction company from Hampshire plus Ed Ware and Nick Higgs like I mentioned earlier. Stadium back on course with a better deal than previous. Construction company will build stadium at no cost to club who will own it in exchange for Mem. They will cover costs by building a large number of houses on Mem site. Wael to retain 10% shares. That is what I heard today, not sure how accurate...dont shoot the messenger! This is what ive heard (however nobody mentioned Higgs) which matches exactly with what Ed Ware was mooting just after Wael and chums screwed us on uwe and decided to bail. This has been a long time in the offing. I wasnt under the impression that we would own the uwe however but then again the people that build it will own us and as is standard will say we own it but attatch the debt to build it to it.

It's interesting that we all seem to "know" the above version of the takeover story. It surely can't be a coincidence that this seems to have come out from many "reliable" sources. What none of us know is do the AQs actually want/need to sell? There has to be some reason for all these leaks and it's fair to say it's certainly been damaging to the AQs. All seems a bit underhand to me.

We are best having this move go through and taking our chances...

Basically how i see it is remnants of the old board were cheesed off seeig UWE fall through especially with the dodgy reasoning provided. Almost immediately they were putting the case for how this could be delivered and having seen the new board move from being the people who were going to make uwe a reality to the current situation. We all know the old board used to leak like crazy so that makes sense with this also.
