Bonham 9 England's England's number 1..
J. Clarke 8.5 best of defence.
Lockyer 6.5 beaten for pace at least once. Took his goal well though.
Craig 7 should be captain.
Kelly 7.5 great without being noticed.
Sinclair 8.5 the beard is back, the first 10 mins was both focus in defence and attack!
O. Clarke 9.5 m o m sublime, best mid performance from anyone this season. Brilliant interception to tap back to keeps and a scorcher to cap a memorable performance! Excellent.
Lines 8 he's tackling! And some great spread play
Bennett 7 so often the wide outlet we need, just need a bit more quality with the last delivery.
Nichols 5 whom? Was he there?
Reilly 7.5 great movement as a lone striker, took his goal well....folk might say poor defending, but the finishing still needs to be done and he looks to have the minerals.
Subs: Payne 5 not alot of effort and didn't look fit.
Jakubiak 6.5 tried hard.
Matthews 6.5 tried to keep formation.
Crowd 5 very quiet for 3-0 up, hardly any singing, appear negative....an off day.
Ref 7.5 apart from a few glaring mistakes (maybe took wrong advice from linos) I thought he tried to let the game flow and was spot on with his timing of playing advantages.
Coventry 5.5 better finishing might have led a completely different story. But they faced a keeper inspired and high in confidence and form, and a ruthless barrage of passing movement from midfield up....a strong Gas performance.

Bonham 8 early doors saves gave us a platform to do well and win the game.
J. Clarke 6 steady performance.
Lockyer 7 read game well. Good goal.
Craig 6 did ok.
Kelly 7 thought he played well, made a few mistakes but didn't go missing. Like his all round composure.
Sinclair 8.5 he epitomises Bristol Rovers. A fantastic workmanlike performance that drove us on. New signings take note.
O. Clarke 9 MOTM fantastic all round display. Great finish.
Lines 7 Good performance. Corners were quality.
Bennett 5 frustrating but battled and put a shift in.
Nichols 6 played ok needed to have scored to stay on pitch.
Reilly 7 worked hard and good finish.
Payne 2 as far as impacts go it was non-existent. Looked slow and lacked urgency.
Jakubiak 7 great impact looked hungry.
Matthews 5 did ok.
Crowd 6
Ref 8
Coventry 7 thought they played ok just lacked up top.

I would like to add that apart from James Clarke having one of his typical'steady' games, he is also a very calm, professional man.
In the 2nd half Ollie crunched one of their players who got up and squared-up top Ollie and gave him a shove. Ollie in typical fashion fronted-up and the look on his face was clearly inviting the Coventry lad to take it further and James stepped in, put his arm around the Coventry lads shoulder and quietly led him away.
A very mature handling of a confrontational situation. I'm impressed with everything he does.

Results in and Ollie Clarke was Man of the Match with a score of 8.95.
Clarke's rating was the highest since Broadbent's 9.0 away to Oxford last season. Given that Broadbent scored exactly 9.0 in that game, no player has scored above 9 since Sinclair's 9.5 away to Bolton in 2016/17.
Bonham was runner-up with a score 0.02 above Sinclair. (equivalent to a .5 difference divided across the 22 posters who gave a rating). Bonham has been MotM or RU in each of his first four games, something that has never previously been achieved. Lee Nicholls was RU in each of his first three games.
Payne's 3.6 was the lowest score by a substitute since Nichols' 3.3 at home to Doncaster in December last season. In fact Payne's was the 21st lowest score by a substitute in these threads.
The starting XI average was 7.29.
