Away point ok but we were so lightweight up front, Scannell best player for them.
Would have brought the Jak on earlier as both our strikers offered very little goal threat.
Great to see Sercombe back who did offer a goal threat
Lucky the ball didn't go in when it hit both posts and i think Craig then made a great goal line clearence, overall though much better defending.

Mensah not getting game time at Lincoln so seems un-likely to be the answer to our lack of goals.Think Jabba the Hutt has to be given a run. And Slocombe not even on their bench for the last two games.That must show how highly they rate him. |

3 goals conceded in the last 6 games in all competitions certainly shows we’ve turned our defensive troubles around. Craig and Lockyer have come in for a lot of stick this season but they’re starting to improve, shame that Locks picked up the injury he did, I hope he’s alright.
Not letting myself get totally carried away but a fit and firing Sercombe back from injury and a few more goals from our strikers could turn our season on its head.

No, I wasn't myself but as my stats show, it's not a single game we are talking about here, it's 50. Did you see something special today that justifies that level of performance from a 50 game striker? |

Yep, I give up on him. I've been positive throughout his time here, he has great feet, he looks like a well coached player, his touch is great. But he just doesn't score. Maybe a loan somewhere would help both parties, and maybe he would kick on if he returned.
