Mensah not getting game time at Lincoln so seems un-likely to be the answer to our lack of goals.Think Jabba the Hutt has to be given a run. Mensah came on as a sub for the last 10 minutes today.

I was at the game today and would say that both Nichols and Reilly played well today given that they were up against tall defenders and both contributed to a solid point gained keeping Bradford below us in the table

If we had someone who can score consistently we would be top 10 minimum, albeit a lot of teams can probably say that. From the Bradford forum : "Once again if Rovers could have finished they were out of sight at half time, no excuses first half total rubbish".

I wasn’t going to say that no I was going to ask if any of the Nichols critics were actually at the match today I wasn’t at the match no , but I have seen him play in pretty much every other game and I would say that he is simply too lightweight and doesn’t score goals, 1 goal scored if memory serves me correctly. Why do you ask ?

That level of performance applies to all 14 players who appeared in the goalless draw today applying your criteria

Lockyer has scored the same this year alone as he has in his total time here. He might be contributing the half time oranges but a striker needs to contribute goals and assists.

I wasn’t defending his goal record which is indefensible but I do defend his contribution to the team the fact is we don’t have a goal scoring replacement for him

DC's very pleased with his strikers.
Two live wires working really hard defending from the front.

He did more in 5 minute injury time than Nichols did all the match today. Nichols plays as if Div 1 is a step too far, most of the time he gets tackled and when he doesn't he usually passes to the opposition.

Didn't see it, didn't hear it, but a point away, at Bradford, take that all day long. Well done lads.

Nichols awful today. Can't see him scoring again ever. Sell him. Gavin Reilly was just as bad

........surely Tom has had enough chances now. Most people with a day job ( or one at night ! ) would get the bullet if they turned up and under performed week in week out. Every Gashead wants / wanted him to do well. “Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.”
