Bonham 8 Great to have such a reliable keeper, made 3 or 4 good saves and 1 great save
Partington 6
J. Clarke 7 Solid and did well in Lockyers slot
Broadbent 5.5 gave the ball away too much and in dangerous areas on a couple of occasions but strong in the air
Craig 5 not much of an attacking threat down the left when we have to use him there
Sinclair 5 good effort but ball bypassed him a lot
O. Clarke 7.5 another dominant performance from Ollie
Lines 7 showed up better in the second half and had a lot of the ball
Sercombe 5 struggled with the pace of the game but had a great shot well saved late in the game
Bennett 5 Meh
Payne 4 gifted the ball in first half just outside the box, his shot beat the keeper but rattled the bar

Crowd 5 poor turnout from both sets of supporters but those that were there did the clubs proud

Bonham 7 - steady and made some important stops
Partington 6 - Good going forward but fails to track back quick enough
J. Clarke 7 - Mister dependable
Broadbent 4 - time to put this player out on loan for a while
Craig - 5 Can't cross, can't run but cover well for the poor Broadbent
Sinclair 5 - runs around a lot, did nothing of importance
O. Clarke 7 - Steady Eddy in midfield, needs to know when to pass instead of shooting on site
Lines 3 - needs putting out to pasture and used as an "impact" sub
Sercombe - 6 - Wasted out wide, replace Lines in the middle with him
Bennett 3 - Utter Dross
Payne 6 - bit more positive tonight but still slow as a tug boat when closing people down
Subs: Reilly 4 - Did he touch the ball ?
Jakubiak 4 - Why Bother with him when no big man upfront
Martin 5 covered the ground better than Craig but can't cross a ball for toffee
Crowd 7 - felt sorry for the lot of them watching that trash
Ref 5 - inconsistent with free kicks
Rochdale - 6 will struggle along with us this season

Results in and Jack Bonham was Man of the Match with a score of 7.79.
I decided to include all ratings from this thread in the averages. Although bidefordgas and GHB helpfully stated that they watched it on iFollow and I'm pretty sure seanclevedongas and stevek were at the game I couldn't work out the others (at least without digging through posts). Obviously, this may affect the scores, but in this case there is a clear MotM.
This was Bonham's 3rd MoTM. Only Joe Lumley with 4 has more as a goalkeeper in these threads.
Similarly, only Lumley out of all players achieved his 3rd MotM faster than Bonham's 6 games. His came in his 5th game. Gaffney was next quickest in 8 games, followed by Trotman and Lines both in 10.
The starting XI average was 5.88.
