"We’ll move in March [2017]” to new training ground says @official_BRFC chairman. bristolroverssc.co.uk/2016/09/08/having-a-gas-6/Seriously though, the last I heard was the Al-Qadi interview back in August. The training ground – what’s happening? Darrell told me the other week that it’s very weedy, I’ve seen pictures of it and it’s nowhere near ready. Again, I’m very frustrated about this, about the training ground. It will happen and if it doesn’t happen in time for next season, or next April, when our current venue’s rent ends, we will provide a temporary solution for the team to have a very good training facility. As a temporary solution until our training ground is up and running. You appointed Evan Jones Chartered Surveyors to deliver this, what are they doing? As project managers. It’s a process and it’s complicated from different angles. I can assure you it will happen and, like I said, because the training pitches have to be started very soon otherwise you’ll miss the window over the winter, unless we start very soon we’re going to miss that and if that happens, we will provide a temporary solution for a training ground. Where will that be? Again, I can’t go into that because of talks. It’s close by but again, its not a done deal. That’s what we’re looking at. To quote Darrell, he said some people need to get their fingers out over the training ground. It’s frustrating him. It’s frustrating me too. Like I said, we have to move on this very quickly. www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/full-wael-al-qadi-transcript-1889017

Surely there is something going on behind the scenes? If not, DC is then completely right in continually digging out the board, imagine trying to convince players to come here and we don't even know where we will be training next season...turning in to a bit of embarrassment all of this

Still confident we will get this and the uwe... Using the new UWE Sports complex is the obvious choice, although it that's not an option I'm not sure what Plan C will be, if we are due to get turfed out of Cribbs this summer?

It’s currently an ecological habitat.
I’ve heard we are in talks with David Belllamt to film Autumn Watch. In 2022.

Blimey, you’ve got a new shop, a refurbished bar and Sausage rolls the size of a Chippendales dick, now you are asking for somewhere to train. Always want, want, want.

And we all just wanna know! 😒 Ok well I was told by an impeccable source (not to be named, as I sworn to secrecy) that takeover to be announced tomorrow at 1:62pm! We will buy the etihad and drive it to Bristol where we will also build a statue of Matty Taylor outside the ground. Don’t shoot the messenger!

Here's an idea Radio Bristol - you have Steve Hamer on every other week commentating. In fact he'll be commentating on Saturday.
Why doesn't someone ask him what the update is on the training ground?
