Anyone hear the crowd? I counted 1759 although a few people wouldn't stand still which made it tricky Exciting game then.

Scab report :- we have to sign this Goalie in January Leds - poor Clarke - Solid Broadbent - ok most of the times Kelly - Had a good game Rodman - man of the match Sercs - slow start got better as the game went on Bennett - looks flash but NO end product - could not pass the ball for Toffee tonight Matthews - Quality but one dimensional Upson - controlled the midfield Jack - took his goal Well but drifted in and out of the game Tom Nichols - poor service to him and shots both outside the box The young un - not on long enough but was out jumped twice Good game and enjoyed by the 1100 or so SCABS Onward and upward we go Disagree with MOTM. Unfortunately it was Bonham again. Saved 3 one v ones. You're right, we need to sign him in January. Offer Brentford a free but a 25% sell on should guarantee Bonham won't go elsewhere.

I stand by Nichols and hope he comes good eventually, but Jakubiak needs to start. Whether DC sees something in Nichols or not, Jakubiak has scored 2 from his 2 starts, which has to have given him confidence. Nichols has 0 confidence at the moment.
Torn between going 1 or 2 up front but I’d go: ———Bonham——— Parts Locks Craig Kelly ——Clarke Lines—— Benno Sercs Matthews ———Jaks———

a very worthwhile exercise and liked team selection and subs, esp young uns .Glad young Moore got a few minutes and hope it fires his determination to get into league squads , could have a good un there, also good for Rodman and hope this is new start for him at the gas! a good result against a strong Yeovil side and plenty for DC to ponder over for Sat, now onward and upwards!

YAWN! Don't like: Struggling to beat a mid-table L2 team. Do like: three man commentary team. Yeovil made 1 change from a Lge 2 match. We made 7 from a Lge 1 match. A win tonight would be a decent result, and good for morale. Also would mean we continue in the competition #whatdo1990&2007haveincommon? Neither year we played u23 or u21 cos no one really knows who we are against? Is it u23’s. Nope. Is the not u23 players all English? Ha ha, nope. Will we hear in 10 years time “last time Bristol Rovers beat West Ham was in 2018”. A big Dam no. sh** on our comp with more bullshit. We play 46 league games. Min 1 fa cup (max lately). Min 1 league cup. Prem play 38 league games. Min 1 fa cup game (at round 3). Min 1 league cup (round 2 if not in Europe). That’s 48 games min to us, 40 min to them. Add on the usual 1st round of leyland daf cup puts us up to 49 min. But they want a winter break. Dam didims. So they get there winter break because there tired (and I get that 6 teams that flirt in Europe play more but that’s less than a 1/3 of prem and they can/ have to assemble squads should they be “lucky enough” to be in that elite league. Will play there u21/u23 in a group. Let’s add on 2 more games to round 1 of leyland daf. To benefit England 😆. So 51 games min. But hang on at the end of a long season we could (not this season) potentially have to play 3 extra massive play off games. So defo 51 games if you do sh** in all cups with pos 3 play off games v bog standard team (1/3 of league) 40 games if your in prem and out cups 1st round. AND YOU WANT A WINTER BREAK ON THEM SLICK PITCHES. People stop pining to this bull and boycott this prem development bollox.

DC doesn't half make life hard for himself and give encouragement to those who want him out.

Torn between going 1 or 2 up front but I’d go: ———Bonham——— Parts Locks Craig Kelly ——Clarke Lines—— Benno Sercs Matthews ———Jaks——— Good post and I agree. Nichols isn't a bad player but his confidence must be totally shot to pieces, and I don't think persisting with him at the moment is going to do us or him any good. I really do think he could still be an asset to us, but I think DC and MS should take him out of the spotlight for a little while and perhaps try to loan him out whenever the opportunity arises, to a Conference team. We've seen that Luke James has been scoring for Barrow and who knows he could yet even make a career for himself in the football league. Nichols just needs a helping hand somehow to get his confidence back. I remember seeing him at Exeter and he looked a cracking player, and he scored 14 goals for Posh the season before he joined us. Perhaps if he'd scored a couple in the first few games for us then it'd be a different story, but I hope we could still salvage something from it.

Not sure how people think Nichols can come good. If he was 18, I'd think maybe - but he's not. Sure he plays ok when he's on the pitch, but so did Telford and so does Jak as well.
What does he actually contribute on the pitch? Goals? No. Assists? No.
If you wanted to play him as a CAM with Jak & Reilly up front then I'd be more open to him playing, but unfortunately he plays as a striker who doesn't do anything a striker should do.

So Jakubiak out and Nichols in on Saturday then just to boil everyone's p*ss! And Sercombe ( who had a decent game, playing in central midfield last night ) will be shunted out to the wing again.

The deal to sign bonham should be done now to secure him and then announced in January plenty of teams do deals in advance, knowing us we will leave it until the last day of the transfer window and loose out to another club and end up without him
