It has been a long time coming but finally the two best heavyweights on the planet get to fight and decide who is the best Heavyweight in the world. In one corner we have the hardest hitting heavyweight in the world and the other the most skillful with the best lateral movement and footwork of any heavyweight in the world. It really is tough to split them as this is a genuine 50 50 fight.......If Wilder gets to Fury and connects then a stoppage is likely. On the other hand if Fury can move, switch hit and use his skills then Wilder will be a frustrated chap who loses a decison.............If I had to bet my house on it I would edge for Fury on points but this is really tough to call.

It would be good to see Fury beat Wilder and then smash the crap out of Anthony Joshua. However, I am concerned that Fury hasn't had enough comeback fights yet.

As long as Fury doesn’t get careless this should be an easy victory on points. Ortiz apart, Wilder hasn’t fought anyone with any boxing credibility, his record looks impressive but that’s it. And after Wilder it will be interesting to see if Joshua will take up the offer of unifying the heavyweight division.

I hope you`re right, but I think that the two and a half years of inactivity and alcohol abuse, may tell against him. Wilder 11/10 to win by KO/ Tech KO. Seems a value bet. I`ll listen on 5 Live.

Fury just put on a masterclass and was robbed by a Mexican judge watching another fight absolutely disgraceful.Even the American tv networks had Fury winning comfortably.Gutted for Tyson who showed he still has amazing footwork and the best skill set of any heavyweight in the world.....His unbeaten record remains intact but he was robbed this morning.

Sounded like it on 5 Live. You knew something wrong was coming, the length of time it took them to read the scores out.

Hasn't it always been the case though, that to win in the US against an American you've basically got to knock them out?

All the way back to Tommy Farr v Joe Louis, and probably further back than that. I thought that fixing fights had died with Frankie Carbo. But you do wonder sometimes.

One thing is for sure and that is Eddie Hearn will keep Joshua well away from the pair of them...No need for him to put him in with either of them knowing his stiff limited bodybuilder will be koed by one and outboxed and made to look a fool by the other....Why risk it when the muppets and fanboys who have been sucked in by the Joshua hype machine will flock to Wembley stadium and fork out for the ppv like the mugs they are to see Joshua fight the winner of Chisora/Whyte?

Daylight robbery. The two knockdowns apart, Fury won all the other rounds I thought. Not far off how I thought the fight would pan out, the two knockdowns, but at least he has kept his unbeaten record.

And in the meantime we are still without a World Heavyweight Champion which according to Ring Magazine is Vacant. I tend to use these rankings as a guide because there are so many organisations I don't know who is at the top of the game and who isn't

Obviously he lost rounds 9 and 12 with the knockdowns the only round Wilder won was round 7 and that was close.

AJ is a fraud. He and Hearn have been taking the casuals for a ride.
Tyson Fury is the best Heavyweight on the planet by some distance, his Footwork and Lateral Movement is incredible for a bloke of his size. As a Boxing purist he is a joy to watch. And has the technical Boxing Skills and Ring Craft that AJ could only dream of.
Deontay Wilder is technically poor like AJ, but he's unpredictable, unorthodox, is exciting to watch and has incredible power with his right hand.
They are both head and shoulders above AJ.
Dillion Whyte has improved incredibly over the last few years and I would put him above AJ aswell.
Fraud.

We've seen it before, but the simple fact is that Joshua can't take a punch !
