Very fortunate to be winning at half time. Could've easily been 2-0 down. But, I'll take a lead however it comes at the moment. Need to do better in the second half though.

The game shifted as soon as we scored. It was being played in our half, but it then switched, and we were playing in their half.
Now all we need is for one to go in off the arse of Nichols, who can then begin to play like Messi with his new found confidence.
Am I getting a bit carried away?

How the hell are we winning this ? Shocking display but I’d bite anyone’s hand off for the 1-0. Glad we’ve switched Clarke and Sercombe, Clarke in behind Nichols has to be one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen DC try. Matthews giving the ball away everytime he has it, Nichols isolated upfront but again has missed a few chances (how many more will DC and the fans give him!!). Bonham MOTM incoming again - his fingertip save onto the post was first class. |
