No ball into there box before 32 minute tells its own story, and very few for rest of game either, thanks to Bonham and Craig defence so much better now though still getting exposed down the flanks,Kelly worth persevering with and is a fine prospect all be it not the finished article, Leads ? often left acres of space for them to exploit and offered little going forward, midfield neat and tidy in patches playing some good stuff at times but too many misplaced passes which could have been costly and created little in the way of danger in there box, striker/s ? were there any apart from last ten mins? All in all relief at getting 3 pts thanks to stoic defending against a team who looked far more dangerous than us without being great, but probably feel they did enough to win the game,2 real toughies ahead 2 or 3 points from them would be great!! Bonham 7,Leads 5, Locks 7,Craig 8, Kelly 6, Mathews 4,(poor apart from great corner for goal!)Upson 7, Sercs 6, Benno 5,Clarke 6, Nicholls 7 Subs Clarke 6, Jacks 5, Payne nol Ref 6,Wombles 6, Marcus for his interview 1 !!

Bonham 7.5
Leadbitter 6 Was he under orders not to get forward? Lockyer 7 Craig 7 Kelly 6.5
Matthews 5.5 I like him, but perhaps he's best used as a sub coming on late Upson 6.5 Sercombe 6 Again, where was he in the first half? Bennett 5.5
O. Clarke
Nichols 7.5
Subs: J. Clarke 7 Jakubiak 6 Payne 5.5
Crowd 7 Started well, then faded Ref 4 Interesting to know that tripping opponents is now OK! Wimbledon 6 Looked better than a losing side?!

Ridiculous 0 Mark for Nichols for Christ’s sake give it a rest Obviously a flippant score. He worked hard as always. But you can't keep giving 6s and 7s for hard work when, as a striker, HE NEVER SCORES.

Not obvious to me and a few others apparently Ok, well apologies for the misunderstanding. I can see him working his socks off. But I'm exasperated that he just can't score. That is, after all, his job.

Finally played the ball on the ground for about 1/3rd of the game funny how that method got us somewhere when there is no height in the squad!

DC made 3 change during that game. First he tries to accommodate his favourite players, but it doesn't work. he changed it, we looked a lot better, towards the end he changes it again and we are lucky to see the game out. Very foolish

Very foolish Funny how we all see the same game differently. I may not agree but I do understand the charge that DC got the initial selection wrong, but the final change you refer to shored us up completely. Bringing James Clarke on helped us deal with their long ball threat so well that Bonham didn't have a shot to save. Not sure then that we were lucky to see the game out. I felt we were comfortable with Big Tone heading everything away. I will concede though that it couldn't be described as vintage performance!

Results in and Jack Bonham is once again Man of the Match for an unprecedented FIFTH game in a row.
Bonham now has 7 MotM awards in just 10 games. That's the same number as Lee Mansell achieved in 87 games and more than players such as Bodin (5 in 105), Easter (5 in 75) or McChrystal (5 in 65) ever achieved. Only 8 players have ever achieved more than Bonham.
He has as many MotMs as Mildenhall and Lumley did in a combined 73 games and more than Smith, Slocombe and Puddy in a combined 83.
Despite all of this, Bonham's average of 7.72 after ten games is not the best ever start to a Rovers career. That is still Ryan Sweeney who averaged 7.89 in his first ten games.
This was Ollie Clarke's 150th game in the Player Ratings threads. His average score is 5.93 while his best game was a 9.0 at Bolton in 16/17 and his worst rating was 1.7 against Bath City in the FA Trophy.
The starting XI average was 6.33. Only one win last season rated lower, Rochdale at home which was 6.30.
Bonham 7.9
Leadbitter 6.1 Lockyer 7.2 Craig 7.8 Kelly 6.5
Matthews 5.0 Upson 7.0 Sercombe 5.6 Bennett 5.0
O. Clarke 5.6
