We need desperately need goal so DC leaves just the utterly useless Payne upfront on his own, you couldn't make it up!

28/10/17 Gaffney scored his sixth league goal of the season for Rovers.
It is true he only got one more the rest of the season, he had a barren patch (nothing like you know who who hasn't scored a league goal since that very same 28/10/17), but Gaffney didn't get the chances he deserved and so wanted out. He's now proving elsewhere that he should of been given more of a chance.
Yes, Gaffney isn't a Hayles, Roberts, Stewart... but he has a far better record than our current options.
