Hopefully Payne will put in one hell of a shift to make up for his misdemeanours and prove he is worthy to wear those blue and white quarters.

That line up, though I would like Lines in, probably in place of Upson, is pretty strong. Plenty of width, two up front, Clarke and Sercombe both playing centrally. Good chance for Payne to show what he’s about today. UTG!

I can't understand why, after two good home games DC dropped Upson, now he's recalled even though Lines didn't have a bad game last week. Surely that's because it doesn't matter what you did in the last game. It's what is right for this game that matters. Maybe DC feels that Blackpool present a different challenge to the one Barnsley offered. I prefer Lines as a player but maybe Upson is better suited to this particular challenge. The line up is fine for me, but it's all about the wing backs. They have to support the attacks better than they have done for the majority of the season. |

This team would get hammered by our non league side. A very dissapointing summer of recruitment in what was really the launch of DC phase 2 following the inevitable break up of our double promotion squad. We need to have a serious look at the scouting and recruitment side of things We did, we brought Widdrington in... A re-look then. Unless signing his own son and Martin on loan from Stevenage reserves is the new level for us |

Which is OK if you're a top Premiership side but I bet no other Div 1 side is swapping CM's game by game. Back to today the Blackpool goalie is making his league debut, surely we can test him a bit today? |

I know there’s a thread on here about possible family/personal issues on here with linesy, however it’s not to do with that, how can he not be starting after last week? The man is easily the best midfielder at the club and was outstanding against Barnsley last week Not difficult to understand, exactly as expected. Play well and DC drops you. |
