I'm shocked I only heard about this today, but I hope it's a success. This topic interests me greatly and it's something that should be talked about constantly in today's world! All the best for the event. UTG

Subject is something that will affect everyone in varying degrees at some point in time ,even if you can only pop along for an hour, it's an event worth attending. brct i'm not having a dig but this should have in my mind been mentioned a bit more ,as even if people who attend have never been ill or known anyone with mental issues ,may be a bit more aware of the signs in others andbe able to help before illness takes it grip

Not going to be able to get there tonight due to time constraints. A worthwhile cause. Personally I've had a couple of life changing illnesses and I'm in my mid 40's. Easy to underestimate the mental strain when physical future is unknown

I'm hoping to go along as long as I get back from work in time. I assume it's in the East Stand?

Why aren't events like this pinned on the club's twitter feed (even just on the day) or prominent on the OS?

Lucky it wasn't better advertised as it's absolutely rammed!

Great evening so far. Interesting to hear how what goes on on a match day can effect a player afterwoods. Sinclair saying how he still has knots in his stomach when thinking about his red card on Sunday and will do until his suspension is over as he feels he's let the team down.
Mansell talking about how much he struggles now as he's not playing every Saturday.
So easy to forget that footballers are just people too. It's easy for us to hurl abuse as it feels like there's a boundary between the pitch and the terraces.

Yes a privilege to witness such honest insights from the 4 players over their struggles - a great night

very humbling event, the honesty of everyone there makes you realise you arn't alone in your suffering, was also interesting on the way former and current players feel ,was refreshing to see those players and e players being honest about how things affect them ,i would hope this becomes a regular event as you end up talking to others who have suffered as well ,thanks to those who made it possible

A great night with 120 attending! Just shows how attitudes have changed. I echo innee's comments and found it to be a very refreshing evening, thanks go to the organisers.
