We should be looking at him going soon as he is now 31 and he's not going to get any faster. All downhill from here. I know! I’ve always rated Sinclair, always will. The man is a beast in terms of fitness so I see no signs of him ever slowing down. He’s made a silly error today by the looks of it but let’s be honest that man bleeds blue blood and has always given everything for our team. He’s always reminded me of a lower league Edgar davids , like a pitbull constantly at you and never giving the opposing team a moments peace. He will be greatly missed when he calls it a day. That man is everything good about the gas, not the most technically gifted but always puts in a shift. And that’s it isn’t it his fitness is fantastic, he’s not lightning fast but he has stamina and he won’t lose speed and his stamina is as good as ever. Blimey, he’s made a bad tackle, got caught and is sent off. If two or three other players gave his commitment we might not be 20th in the table. As you say okebourne, he’s the heart beat of the gas. UTG!

Clever from Nichols to win the pen. earning praise on BBC 🙂 Yes, Kevin Kilbane is now an honoury gashead after saying lots of good things about us. UTG!

My fellow gasheads! He got sent off, deservedly from what I hear! Why all this about doubting his ability! All players, as all fans make mistakes, some cost some do not! Let's get real. In the end we could and should have won. Too much common sense I’m afraid smudge! May not go down too well with some. UTG!

The highlights are up on the BBC webpages. The Sinclair challenge doesn't look as bad as it was reported at the time - to me anyway. He makes the challenge jumping in and on his backside with his left foot, low but studs showing and the right leg bent. He barely touches the Barnet player. It is the case though, now, that if you go off your feet into a challenge then you are out of control and the referee has little choice.

Well done Rovers, potential banana skin avoided, deserved to win but confident we will finish the job in replay, as for the Beard, bit stupid but we are all allowed the odd relapse are we not? hope so !

I think Stui slipped there a little. I’d have given him the benefit of the doubt.
I think Bonham would have saved that header. Either from claiming the ball in the air or saving the header which Smith made a meal out of.
Think we did well to hold out for a draw given less men for most of the game.

What happened to the 2 shots that hit the bar? sh** highlights typical BBC!

I doubt Gordon Banks would haved saved their goal, it was a great header. Agree re Sinclair...looks very harsh to me.

Tony Craig beaten a bit too easily in the air on their goal for my liking.

Here we are again after a great away win at Blackpool we could not beat this little team. Even though we were down to 10 men for the most of the game it's one we still should have won Let's hope we can pick t back up for the next league game

Just seen the highlights and another ref might have only booked Sinclair. However the hounding of the ref by their players was ugly and I thought those days were gone (reminded me of the man u possee antics). Perhaps that's what DC referred to in his interview re the replay - - -

Poor defending and goalkeeping for their goal.

I thought he was actually trying to get between their pack and the ref but a lot of good it did!

What utter nonsense, presumably you would not have picked Nobby Stiles in the world cup final?? Sinclair f*cked up today, but has been an absolute credit to this club over the past 5 years, and has played a vital part in our recent success, and as such deserves respect. He continues to be a good player for this club, because, believe it or not, you need players to tackle and close down the other team, and allow players such as Lines more time on the ball. When did I say he didn't deserve respect for his contributions in the PAST. Sure, he was great in the conference and played a part in the second promotion. We all have opinions and mine is that he is no where near up to league one standard. Aside from one game vs Coventry he has had pretty much no impact this season. Time to move him on as we need more technically gifted footballers than him to progress. Comments such as calling a player a donkey should be reserved for the opposition. Stuart is not in the team for his technical ability and to create chances but to stop the opposition playing and win the ball, was unfortunate today with a miss timed tackle, but usually gets a good tackle and over the past few years has been an important player to us. If you want to have a go at anyone, have a go at our forwards, if they were on the ball we would have won today, but at least Nichols got a penalty today. But they have failed to many times this season.

Looks like soft ref manipulated by over reaction of Barnet players. Let’s remember that in the replay and ensure they go home on the end of a hammering

Close control even at speed , good accuracy with his passes what he lacks is creativity which is what makes him a get it and give it player, which is fine because we’ve got lines , sercombe etc to do the creative side. If he was a ball winner and a playmaker he’d be playing higher than our level.

Silly tackle so early on, but barnet players certainly helped to make the refs mind up,bloody relief to be in the draw, lets not balls it up.
