Anyone know the attendance and away following? Attendance was 1,705. Still waiting for the away following. 523 according to Barnet official site - pretty impressive!

Ha ha. For all their pathetic talk about this imaginary rivalry between us they couldn't even muster up 1200 of their own fans to go and watch the game. Pathetic turn out for a pathetic tiny little club playing right back where they bloody well belong.

Not long got home from Barnet. They have a tidy little stadium, not huge but plenty big enough for their modest support. Since our last visit they have replaced the away end terrace with a smart, pillar less stand which is steeply raked and probably holds about 2k. I don't know if they own the ground, but once again we are shown up with our poxy tents and stretches of uncovered terracing.
As for the game, Sinclair should have known better. Why on earth he had to dive in like that when the ball was in the opposition half is beyond me. I knew he would get red-carded from the way Payne got straight into the refs face. I think he got a yellow as well. For the rest of the first half we were rocked back, and it's only because Barnet are crap that they didn't get more goals. The Nicholls penalty incident was a joke, but the last laugh was on him with a ridiculous yellow for simulation, and one for DC for his protests. The ref was dross, and blew up for everything.
In the 2nd half we bossed the game, helped by Linesies appearance..we stroked the ball around nicely, and pulled their narrow defence all over the place. TN seem d to have 2 defenders on him as soon as he got the ball, but he twisted and turned and gave them a torrid afternoon. The penalty was nailed on, and I got the impression the ref couldn't wait to give it because he realised what a balls-up he made of the first incident.
How we didn't score at least one more is beyond me. However, it gives us the opportunity to beat them at the Mem, a place their pathetic support claims to hate. I doubt they'll bring 50 down.
Horrible little club that has no right to be in the FL.

Sending off a little harsh, but if you lunge in with both feet you run the risk of getting sent off. Tony Craig beaten a bit too easily in the air on their goal for my liking. Surprised you weren't at WSM today. Or were you? 😉

I’ve always rated Sinclair, always will. The man is a beast in terms of fitness so I see no signs of him ever slowing down. He’s made a silly error today by the looks of it but let’s be honest that man bleeds blue blood and has always given everything for our team. He’s always reminded me of a lower league Edgar davids , like a pitbull constantly at you and never giving the opposing team a moments peace. He will be greatly missed when he calls it a day. That man is everything good about the gas, not the most technically gifted but always puts in a shift. And that’s it isn’t it his fitness is fantastic, he’s not lightning fast but he has stamina and he won’t lose speed and his stamina is as good as ever. Blimey, he’s made a bad tackle, got caught and is sent off. If two or three other players gave his commitment we might not be 20th in the table. As you say okebourne, he’s the heart beat of the gas. UTG! Unlikely to be with us next season, his knees are 'shot' and cannot play two games within a week.

You may be right blueridge but istr season before last in the January match against Swindon all the talk in the ground was about SS going to FGR because he wouldn’t get the chances in league 1. Nearly two years later he’s still here. But he may go and you may be right but I suspect if he hadn’t got sent off the question wouldn’t be arising. UTG!

Just watched the highlights and what an effort that was from Lines on the half-volley. So unlucky.

Here we are again after a great away win at Blackpool we could not beat this little team. Even though we were down to 10 men for the most of the game it's one we still should have won Let's hope we can pick t back up for the next league game Little team??? Patronising or what?

I just had a quick look on their forum, a couple of decent posters and quite a few knobs, one poster said our fans were quiet until we scored then went quiet again and Saltford were louder than us, one of their posters said their drum and horn sounded loud lol, well to that Barnet fan at least we don't need a drum and horn to make noise, oh yeah and another poster trying to take the water that we took 500 fans.

Agree with Oldgas,a tidy enough ground. Felt there was only going to be one winner in the end,we were so unlucky. Nichols had a really good game,my man of the match.

Wrexham took about that amount of fans to Weston today.

Trouble is a 2 footed tackle is a 2 footed tackle and a sending off in most cases. The Beard is always full of honest endeavour but he really didn't need to make that tackle as the ball was going away from our box. You live and learn.
