I got home from work last night at about 00:30am and switched the telly on. Flicking through channels, I came across the South Africa v West Indies game, so I thought I'd watch it for a bit. I have nothing against Women's sports, and they can be very entertaining. I even went to watch the Women's World Cup football final when it was held in Germany.
But.......South Africa had a very good opening bowler called Ismail (or something like that). She was very good, was pacy and made the ball swing. She took two wickets in her first two overs, and should have had three but for a wrong call by the off-field camera umpire. The problem was that every delivery, she made a grunting noise similar to that made by female tennis players. Sorry, but to paraphrase, it's just not cricket. I think the cricket authorities should be stamping down on this early. We don't get that in the men's game, so why should we have our ears assaulted by the women doing this ? It must be off-putting for the batsman (am I allowed to say batsman for the women?) and I think the umpire's should call 'no-ball' when it happens.

I reckon 'guess the size of the SA wicketkeepers arse" would have been a better option. Never seen anything that big before in any International sport.

I'm sure I'll get called sexist, or something similar, but, I honestly can't sit and watch women's sports.
It's like your watching kids sports or something.

I don't mind watching International Women's Football. When the World Cup was here in Germany (about seven years ago?) I went to a few games, including the final. I was quite impressed with the skill levels. Alright, it will never be as quick as Men's football, but you must not try to compare, and just accept it is really a different sport. The same with cricket. Although, I will never accept Women's Boxing. That is nonsense. It's a strange world where we know that Women's sport is quite a few levels below Men's sport, yet apparently many want women to serve in front-line Infantry Combat units. Take a moment to think about that.

Tonight's game, England v South Africa. SA all out for 85. Look at these bowling figures. Scriver 4-1-4-3 Shrubsole 3.3-1-11-3 (hat-trick as well!).

I've seen a couple of games on TV. The first I caught when channel hopping and I was properly hooked. Its unbelievable and really enjoyable.
