Oh no, hopefully Funso Ojo and Ike Ugbo have lost their mojo.

3-5-2 been brilliant lately, so lets change to 4-4-2 and waste Sercombe on the wing?? Bizarre. Hopefully its actually a 4-3-1-2 with Bennett/Sercombe in behind strikers. Defence doesn’t fill me with confidence, and Scunthorpe can score goals.

Didn't know Lundy played for them.Had a few clubs since he played for us. Clearly, the new chap from Huddersfield-Holmes -Dennis?? still not ready after his debut at Exeter mid-week. Thought he may have been on the bench.

Come on then Gas let’s have a win today! If we manage to achieve it, we will have a positive goal difference for the first time in what about 2 and a half years? Lol! 🍾 3 - 1 please, COYSTN (come on you super Tom Nichols) 3-1 really ? That’s not like you. I’ve done a tenner on 2-0 £20 on 3-0 And £50 on gas win both score. Come on Gas !!!

He looked our best defender at the start if this year and its been downhill since for him.

Pretty sure DC said in a recent interview that he is injured.

Looks a narrow 4-3-1-2 with Bennet playing in the hole behind Nichols and Payne. I hate it when we play narrow.

Our back 4 on paper gives me nightmares, but our defensive record hasn’t been bad so fingers crossed 🤞🏻

At home against a team just above us in the table I think we should love more attacking from the start. Plus without Lockyer we are a little short of CB’s.

Seems a tad unfair that Lockyer has been denied to us, in our perilous position, only for him to sit on the bench last night with Wales. Having not played last night I would have thought he could have been sent back as soon as the match finished to play for us today. I understand that Sunderland requested all their players that were to be called up to be released back to them this weekend.

Surprised to see we've gone back to 442,so i won't be shocked to see us revert back to 352 by half time, saying that i can see Gas grinding out a result today, So I'm going for a 2-1 win, UTG

Is if you had more than two players called up you could cancel the game. If that is indeed correct, why did Sunderland not ask for the postponement of th game. If we can not manage without Lockyer we are really clutching at straws. Would expect him to get a run out against Albania next week.

Fair point Dave, but Lockyer has been playing well and a key part of our defence in recent games. It has to be a disruption to lose him. My Sunderland supporting mate told me the Sunderland manager requested their players be released to avoid postponing the game and getting a backlog.

I can only dream of being divorced. She won’t let me. ☹️ The only way I can get the missus to be nice to me is if I threaten to leave her. That’s love

Perhaps they’ve been faxing city saying he can play! Did Sunderland get their players back? Makes it a bit unfair if they did and others didn’t. UTG!

I think they were Scots and the Sunderland Manger is a Scot and presumably has good connections. The Lockyer wrong club thing was corrected a day or two after it first went on the Welsh FA website. I emailed them at the time, as I'm sure did others.
