Stop playing Nichols and Payne would be a good start.
Complete waste of space, time and money the pair of them. £600k spunked and won't even be able to give them away.

couldn,t make it today ,best i could do was radio Briz 2ond half, sounded flat ,no action in there box against supposedly worst defence in league,no chances created, was there a shot in this half?6 mins injury time still didn,t create nowt,is this really how it sounded ? or did i get the wrong impression? must admit it is beginning to look a bit ominous!

It’s gutting. We miss a pen, they go and score. Football punishes you if you don’t take your chances. Lines has put his hand up plenty of times and done the business. Just one of those things. You could argue we should have been in front before then, in any case. We have to take our medicine. We have the players to get us up the table and we will do, if we hold our nerve. That goes for owners, manager, players and fans. If the ref had any balls he'd have ordered a retake for the 5 Scunthorpe players in the box before he'd taken it.

Stating the obvious but we are desperate for a goal scorer in the January transfer market chances 16 shots on goal sums it all up

Clutching at straws I’m afraid, although I agree with what your saying that never seems to happen. Just a shame he didn’t score as that would have probably won the game, fine margins again we’re down but we’re not out.

Just can’t see us staying up at the minute, we are so toothless upfront it must be a joy for defenders against our attack force. I know it’s all about fine lines and all that but we yet again failed to take 3 points in a match where we should of won. Payne & Nichols are not going to score the goals to keep us up on their showings so far this season, yeah , I know Nichols has been much better of late but he’s job is to score goals and Payne , well , I genuinely get the impression that he doesn’t want to be here, he looks so lethargic it’s unreal ! Things really need to change and quickly because I think we are where we deserve to be , bottom four.

We are in real trouble. From top to bottom.
Also what is with the Nichols love in?
Keep persisting with him and we’re DOWN.

Clarke 100% at fault today. Team selection worried me beforehand and my worries were justified. Subs were made far too late also.

The guy - Will- on radio bristol, just finished speaking, summed it up perfectly.

If Bennett’s shot had’ve been an inch or two lower and their player had have been rightly given offside when he scored their first we’d have got the win we deserved and everyone would be buzzing. But luck wasn’t on our side and no doubt the whole performance and every player will now be slated by the majority, cue meltdown. We are where we are... bottom four... can’t put it down to luck. We have not been good enough end of story

The 3-0 win at blackpool is looking increasingly like a fluke result given that we only drew in the Cup game at lowly Barnet, lost in the lesser Cup game at Exeter and lost at home to Scunthorpe after having 24 attempts at goal. We cannot rely on goals from the midfielders and defenders when our so called goal scorers are so timid in front of goal. In the current crisis, Lockyer should not be released for Wales if that is possible and Chris Lines during his interview after Barnet said that he had not missed a penalty for some while - well he has now, just when we needed it most. The important game today was gift wrapped to Scunthorpe and we did not threaten them in the last 10 mins or during the 6 mins of time added on - unforgiveable.

Time to change it saddens me to conclude. Cant justify putting a side out like that week after week. DC will always been a legend but hes lost his way

But luck wasn’t on our side and no doubt the whole performance and every player will now be slated by the majority, cue meltdown. And if we had won all our games we'd be top of the league. But we haven't, we're in the relegation zone and after 10+ games the table doesn't lie. We're crap at this point in time and the recruitment (especially up front) has been rubbish.

But it took a deflection off a Rovers player so it wasn’t offside ,I’m afraid.

Dunno how we lost that game. Baffled. We are equally as poor as the last team relegated from L1; even Darryl Duffy would get in this team.
