here's some good news for the match... We're running an event tonight in Yate - full details here - staring Steve Yates, Devon White, Andy Reece and David Mehew. Whilst this was never intended to be a mass re-union (another day hopefully...maybe 2020) the guest list of other former players from that season has grown to include BRFPA President Billy Clark, Bob Bloomer, Vaughan Jones, Brian Parkin, Phil Purnell and Geoff Twentyman. We're putting Bruno and Reecy up in a hotel (not together...), and they'll be coming to the match tmw. Steve Yates is also coming. Boris can't because he watches his boys on a Saturday. so keep an eye out for them in the East Stand hospitality and say hello... Hopefully one, two or all will be interviewed on the pitch at HT as well. Lance Cook is making a 1989/90 play list as well  Nostalgia isn't what it used to be  |

Bristol-born on loan Liverpool youngster Herbie Kane will be a big threat tomorrow.
“Every week there’s 20 or 30 scouts here” said Doncaster boss Grant McCann.
Hopefully the lads can keep him quiet and get a result. Fingers crossed.

Crowd want changes but it is not until the 64th minute when Clarke takes off Clarke and brings on Mathews. Soon after we go 0-2 down. Clarke takes off O Clarke and Bennett and brings on Jakubiac and Rodman, Despite the best efforts of our attacking team, we fail to score and the crowd go home disgruntled, but they still give a mighty cheer to Nichols who breaks his record again and fails to score in his 58th league game in a row. Meanwhile a spotty faced youth comes on to Twentymans' show and repeats what he has said for the last 3 home games
