Not denying that. Just saying there is more of a link to us and our owners than people think. I don’t know for certain he has connections at chelsea but with them playing their games there and whatnot i’m sure he’s at least got his eye on the players and would know if we could afford any which ones to go for surely widdrington should be doing that anyway That’s assuming Widdrington is doing a stellar job. But equally, whether or not he would in fact increase our chances at landing some lucrative loans, my point was that he has links that on paper would interest Wael Al Qadi and would maybe link him more to this job. Just trying to quash opinions that this rumour comes out of thin air. There is definitely something there. Personally i think he’s a victim of circumstance at Aldershot, and would fit into our style of coaching and the type of play we’d like to see from Rovers.

If we are looking to managers from that level then I would much prefer Daryl McMahon. why did he leave ebsfleet They announced a restructure in November, players were made available for transfer, McMahon lost his assistant Steve Gritt and, eventually, it led to his own exit. He had 57 per cent win record in all competitions and achieved two playoff places and a promotion in his 3 years there. He's currently one of the favourites for the Cambridge job.

I wouldn’t be against John Still coming back. We sacked the wrong bloke when we let him go

It'll be the cheapest option. We all know it.

Looking at the current list, all apart from one have a quality I’d be looking for in the next manager. They are not Steve Cotterill. would you prefer waddock? I’d rather have Gary bloody Johnson than Cotterill . . .

Waddock has an awful record in the league. Stick with Graham Coughlan!

Hargreaves.
Surprised he's not getting a mention, he already here, he knows the players, and he managed at Torquay and comes across well.
Certainly the best qualified of our current staff.

I like to think there is an appointment this week. Coughlan may have come across well, but he is not a new face to the players which I think they will need to change their mindset. Need someone with new ideas, can motivate them, a big personality is exactly what we need.

Need someone with new ideas, can motivate them, a big personality is exactly what we need. I think we need to see how they get on against Fleetwood before we make any decisions either way. For me it'd be worth at least giving Coughlan another game or two to see how he does, and then perhaps give him the job to the end of the season in order to provide a bit of continuity/stability.
