Agreed. I think he was clever telling us what we needed to hear before agreeing the gagging order. Hope to see him back in football soon and will be fully behind whichever club he joins.

I would imagine he was paid and he gratefully accepted a payoff that included keeping his thoughts to himself.

Might hear something via the LMA but doubtful for the above reasons. His interviews over the last three months have said it all so it's pretty clear where his heads/thoughts have been at and who can blame him.
