Bonham 7.5 - One great save not a lot else to do J Clarke 8 - Solid and good going forward Kelly 8 - A big plus from this season Lockyer 8 - Dealt with dirty Evans well Craig 8 - How the ref gave a free kick for his tackle in the 1st half? Holmes-Dennis 8 - Faded 2nd half understandably, cracking corners Upson 8 - I think he is decent though others don't agree O Clarke 7.5 - Bit careless at times Rodman 8.5 MOM - Looks a different player in his correct position Jakubiak 7.5 - Always a threat Reilly 7.5 - Just needs match fitness and service
Matthews 7 -Decent little cameo Lines NOLE Nichols 6.5
First time this season I have seen my Bristol Rovers. Everything looked more balanced, players looked happy and United. Rome wasn't built in a day but promising. For all those who criticised the end of the D.C. reign surely you can see it was justified. Football is a simple game and the management have gone back to basics. Also to see Lee Mansell involved was so refreshing! We may still struggle but at least the players looked like they were up for the fight. Heard rumours that Payne and Bennett are on their way in the New Year, time will tell. I also think the beard will go too but let's wait and see. Someone said on the radio that was for D.C. no it wasn't it was for us long suffering fans. D.C. will also always be a ledge to me but time to move on. UTFG!!!😀😀😀😀😀😀😀

Bonham 7 not a busy afternoon,I sincerely hope that isnt his last home game for us. J. Clarke 8 a very strong game capped with the winning goal. Lockyer 8 took a battering from Evans but kept his cool. Craig 7.5 also in the wars but a strong performance Kelly 8 plays so much better with Tariq in front of him. Rodman 8.5 m.o.m this is the Rodman that I was so pleased we signed. Upson 8 he never hides, always wants the ball, the odd misplaced pass but it never seems to worry him. O. Clarke 6.5 a bit out of sorts but kept battling. Holmes-Dennis 8 bags of quality, works well with the ever improving Kelly Reilly 7.5 took his goal well, was unlucky with an earlier effort, understandably tired later on. Jakubiak 7.5 gave Fleetwood defence plenty to think about. Subs: Nichols 6.5 help set up Clarkes goal, Matthews 6.5 looked bright for his short time on. Lines n.o.l.e but so unlucky with a sublime effort that hit the woodwork. Crowd 8 bottom but one, black Saturday, no away fans but the faithful showed how to support their team. Well done to you all ! Ref 5 hmmm was it really a ten card game? Fleetwood 6 football wise quite good, sadly they have too much of Barton about them to endear themselves to anyone other than their tiny support.

Bonham 6.5 The shot that beat him seem to take a very slight deflection
J. Clarke 8 A very well taken goal and a strong performance from him Lockyer 6.5 Solid game against dangerous strikers Craig 6.5 As above Kelly 7.5 A really good prospect
Rodman 8 Very good Upson 7.5 Good game O. Clarke 7 Solid effort Holmes-Dennis 8 Even playing out of position he looks a really good player Reilly 7.5 This guy has goals in him Jakubiak 7.5 Solid effort worked their defence
Subs: Nichols The ball didn't come is way frequently enough to judge Matthews As above Lines Chris Lines added another dynamic to the Rovers game
Crowd 9 Got right behind the team Ref 4 Hmmn Fleetwood 7 They knew how to play and they knew how to cheat

Bonham: 6. At fault for the goal in being rooted to his line (although no keeper would have stopped the subsequent shot). Little else to do.
J Clarke: 8. Good solid James Clarke performance topped with the winner. Scenes! Lockyer: 7.5. Beats me why people don't prize Tom as the asset he is. Assured performance. Craig: 7. I'm in the 'Craig in' camp but don't think he had his best game today. Gave it away a couple of times when under no pressure, although we got away with it. Loved the passion diving into the crowd! Kelly: 7. Solid enough performance.
Rodman: 8. Best performance yet and looked the player we thought we'd signed. Could be like a new signing. O Clarke: 7. Worked as hard as ever without dominating the game. Upson: 7. Scrapped for everything but like Ollie, didn't dominate. Holmes-Dennis: 8.5 (MoM). Hello...here's a player. Lookee assured, had time and picked the right option time after time. Ironic that, like Rodman, the man who brought him here and was often criticised for his recruitment, won't get the benefit of what looks a cracking signing.
Reilly: 7.5. All round game nowhere near the level of Nichols, but he has an eye for goal. And that is exactly what we have missed all season. Jakubiak: 7.5. Good performance again. Definitely has potential and his pace will cause sides problems.
Nichols, Matthews & Lines: 6. Unlike GC, I was disappointed in the subs in that I didn't feel they affected the game well enough. One of two mini runs from Matthews and Lines' shot apart, they did ok. No more, no less.
Ref: 1. Dreadful. Both managers can have cause for complaint. Let too much go early on and yet again, doesn't look fit enough to keep up with play. Terrible referee. Fleetwood: 5. Not without ability but a side cast in the exact image of their manager in that they had no discipline.

Bonham - 6 - FA to do anything pick out their great goal
J. Clarke - 8 - solid and match-winning! Lockyer 7 - handled Evans comfortably Craig - 6 - sound if not spectacular Kelly - 6 - looked okay, nothing special
Rodman - 7 - one of his better games Upson - 6.5 - looked comfortable O. Clarke - 6.5 - like Upson, comfortable Holmes-Dennis - 7.5 - really looking forward to seeing more from THD. The mystery around appears to have unearthed a very good player
Reilly - 7 - he's like an energised puppy. Never stops and took the goal well instinctively Jakubiak - 6.5 - ran a lot but wasn't really too involved
Subs: Nichols - 6 - looked semi-dangerous when he came on and got fairly involved Matthews - N/A Lines - N/A
Crowd - 8 - loudest I've heard the Mem in a long time at the end. Spurring support when we needed it Ref - 5 - hit and miss. Terrible first half but I loved how he didn't let the dirty bast*rd opponents get away with all their niggly challenges Fleetwood - 5 - lots of passing the ball around their defence without intending to push forward. Decent pressure and composed with the ball but I rarely felt they threatened us, bar that cracker from Hunter

Bonham 5. Did not look so comfortable and assured as in previous games
J. Clarke 7. Good game Mr. Reliable Lockyer 6 Steady game, passing rubbish Craig 6 As Lockyer Kelly 6 Reasonable game and should stay in the side
Rodman 5.5 One chance went begging and should have scored otherwise done ok Upson 5 Reasonable game without dominating O. Clarke 5 As Upson Holmes-Dennis 6 Looks good and hopefully will get better with more game time
Reilly 5.5 Another who might get better with more games. Jakubiak 5 Always busy but did not do much.
Subs: Nichols 5 A couple of good passes without much influence on the game Matthews nole Lines nole
Crowd 9 Best backing for quite a while, if we can keep this going the Mem will become our fortress Ref 6 Players knew who was the ref in his own unique way? , must admit when he walked out I thought oh no not him again ,that's all we need a clown but overall done reasonably well for a change. Fleetwood 5 If they just kept playing football they may have got something from the game, but they are probably a reflection of their manager.

J. Clarke 7.5 swashbuckling and in the right place at the right time :-) Lockyer 6 poor heading but steady Craig 6.5 calm performance apart from when we scored at the death :-) Kelly 6 steady
Rodman 6.5 full of skill and intent 1st half Upson 7 classy, especially first 30 mins O. Clarke 5.5 quiet game Holmes-Dennis 7 very steady and assured

Subs: Nichols 5 as normal - thought Payne's height would've been better option Matthews 6 busy - put in crosses and shots Lines 6 good, crisp passing and unlucky with his angled effort

My own opinions from the game
Bonham 5 Not too much to do, but could have done better on the goal
J. Clarke 7 Battled hard all game and a composed finish for the winner Lockyer 6.5 Decent game Craig 5 Gave the ball away a couple of time in dangerous positions Kelly 6 A couple of nervous moments but also some good forward play. Worth persevering with
Rodman 6 In and out of the game too often but good on the ball when he was Upson 6.5 A couple of dodgy moments which he always has in him but kept the midfield ticking over O. Clarke 7 An early booking didn't limit him and he pushed Fleetwood onto the back foot Holmes-Dennis 7.5 First time I've seen him and he looked class. Seemed to have more time on the ball than others because of the quality of his first touch.
Reilly 7.5 Took his goal well and the volley that hit the post was good technique with it dropping over his shoulder. Kept running till he was taken off just after forcing a mis-kick from their 'keeper. Jakubiak 6.5 Battled well although their was less need for any hold-up play when Fleetwood went down to ten. Nice flick through to Reilly which should have resulted in a red for the Fleetwood defender.
Subs: Nichols 4 Didn't get up to the pace of the game Matthews 6.5 Couple of good crosses from the right wing where he looked more comfortable than the left Lines 7 Also a couple of good crosses and unlucky with a dipping shot that hit the woodwork
Crowd 7 Really got going for those last few minutes. Ref 5 As always with Huxtable a mixed bag. Ollie Clarke was harshly booked and he missed a clear foul on Reilly when clear through. Got the sending offs right though and he did his best to caution Fleetwood's tactics though as shown by the 7 yellows he gave them Fleetwood 5 Had some skilful players but didn't seem too interested in playing that way
