Absolutely superb result and clean sheet. Well played Gas, and well done all those that were there.
Coughlan has to be given the chance now - I just hope he/we can hang on to Bonham, and he has a few additions lined up so we can keep this level up.

Brilliant effort and back to more points than games played something to really build on now.
Nice to hear Byron Anthony on the Radio. Would keep him in the job thought he gave a good perspective

What a turn around, 5 points clear of the drop now. Hoping GC can keep the team levelled and spirits up to keep this fight up. Good to see he has got a reaction from the players. Still lots to do this season. Need to get to 50-60 points to be safe this season I think. Let's keep this going. UTG. Let's not start talking about playoffs after a few wins and see where we are in 10 games times. Just think, if we had lost the last 3, we would have been cut adrift by 12 points or so. This run couldn’t have come at a better time. |

The season isn't secure until we have crossed the 52 point threshold, we should all remember that after we fell out the league, but I have to say, its looking mightily better that it has been since last January.
I would give Coughlan the gig until the end of the year and then make the assessment. Stability is important right now and it seems that the players are responding to him and playing for him and you can't ask more than that.
I would still ship out Payne and Nichols and get some reinforcements in up top as well as add some strength to the CH and RB positions.

Some interesting goal difference stats in bottom half of the table. Suggests, like us, quite a few have not been beaten easily.
Six teams between us and mid table (including us...) have GD's of betteeen -1 and -4.
Only the ones in the relevant zone have awful ones, plus Walsall & Rochdale struggling.

Not really the thread I know but Argyle a bit like us. Have a long standing manager who’s done well for them but having a bad run. They will see what’s happened with us getting rid of a very popular manager and getting an immediate lift. Might persuade them to copy us. Lose today and he’ll be under even more pressure. UTG! |

Under GC we are scoring more goals despite creating less chances than under DC. Starting to wonder where we'd be if DC didn't keep sticking with Nichols and Payne and gave Jakubiak and Reilly more of a chance.
