Here we go then, another 3 points up for grabs under the new regime. Confidence restored, fight restored, reckon we're up for this.
Anyone making the trip?
Come on Gas!!!!

Not making the trip, but will be interesting to see the team GC picks.
Wouldn't be surprised if Payne and Broadbent kept their places ahead of Reilly and Craig. Big opportunity for both.

Our record against Accrington is abysmal and it's about time we got a win against them.
Stats v Accrington: Pld 11..W 2..D 1..L 8.

I dunno, just seems to me like the Northampton game was an audition for both Broadbent and Payne, and they both scored, and generally played well for 90 (TB got high praise from GC, and SP ran more than any other player for what that’s worth). He’s said he wants players to keep the shirt, and those two have done little to give him a reason to take it off them.

Which of 2 or 3 players who've played great for us over the last 3 games does GC pick? I can honestly see us getting something there tomorrow.

TC seems one of the group leaders so I'd be surprised if he was dropped unless his form dipped. Assuming THD & OC are fit he'll revert to his usual starting line up, the only change could be Sercs for Reilly.

Not expecting anything at Accy. Realistically, anything more than 4 points from our next 4 games would be happy days.
Accy (A) Wycscum (H) Pompey (A) P'boro (H)

Broadbent has done his cause no harm with his midweek performance after being out in the cold for most of the season - I'm not sure whether this has always been due to injury or form? However, Locks and Craig have formed a good partnership and let in few goals so I can't imagine GC will want to split them up. For the record I'm a Broadbent fan and never been totally convinced by Craig but in the short term I think GC will rightly stick with what he has. I have no idea how Payne played midweek but Jak will surely come straight back in. Just a personal preference but I would like Nichols to get a run in the number 10 position with Jak to see if they can form a partnership - a better looking Beardsley supporting a Lineker situation !!!!

Accy (A) Wycscum (H) Pompey (A) P'boro (H) The Pompey games has to be rearranged as they are still in the FA cup, although that run of games show what a mess we would have been in w/o our recent good run. On current form Accy & Wyc look v. winnable, then we'd go into the Posh game on v. good run of form on a Tuesday night when we normally play well under the floodlights.
