Blimey. Our defence was split open again through the middle. If you are sat where I am, you will see that Craig is a country mile off the pace and locks is constantly caught in 2 minds. I’m a firm believer that if we got a big strong centre half, Jombati af Wycombe type, we would see so much more from Locks.

Great performance and kept the ball more than we normally do, just hope we don’t run out of steam but Toney has the better of locks and Craig all day long...we need to clatter him and push up as we’re sitting back too much.., Sercs looks like he’s blowing already too Ollie has been on fire again and fairplay to nicholls and Reilly as their doing their bit

We have all known that it takes a good players alongside him to bring the best out of Tom. When he has to run things he struggles

The sad thing is that we'll only get a big crowd this season if we have to win the last home game to stay up!

Our soft defence again. I know we have a good GD considering where we are - but our defence is always a clanger about to happen Keep saying soft defence bit strange how our GD is much better than most in the bottom half!?!?

Probably because we rarely seem to concede normal goals, it’s usually from defensive calamities Plus Bonham has saved us how many times this season?

Most goals do come from errors, unless you’re Man City or Liverpool at the moment.

I've been saying it all season and keep getting shouted down by most with your stat, but we are really poor at the back and have been all season.

If Bonham is doing well for us, our defence isn’t soft. You’re clutching at straws. People complain about the defence being a soft touch are talking about the outfield defensive players. Your post is the equivalent of blaming the youth coach for Rovers being in relegation, he’s part of the coaching team, therefore it’s also on him

With respect though Hugo, the stat is a pretty important tool when evaluating defences. I’d take having a “soft” defence if it meant we were not conceding as many as our rivals. But I do get what you mean in terms of its pace, height, distribution etc.

I've been saying it all season and keep getting shouted down by most with your stat, but we are really poor at the back and have been all season. I think the main reason is Bonham has made some outstanding saves. You think of the Coventry game for one. They should have been 3-0 up in 10 mins but he kept it at 0-0. We also played a negative midfield under DC to stop us leaking goals. Which is why we haven’t scored many. Look at the games where we have lost by the odd goal. It’s most of our losses. Only 2 teams have come to the Mem this year and played us off the park. Doncaster and Portsmouth. Everyone else have been terrible but have nicked a goal and sat in. We have lost because we are that shocking up front.
