We kept Sercs and Bonham, THD and Rodwell seem like new signings post December and we have replaced Payne.
In addition we have added, plus made a bit of room for possibly some more out of contract signings like last year.
As long as the majority of the above stay fully fit, plus renewed confidence for Nichols following two goals in two games, I think we will be OK.

That’s the spirit, by the way what have you been drinking? Because I need some! 😁 Also, don’t forget that penalties don’t count.

Who’s Rodwell Did we sign him in the window I think he means Rodman, and that it's almost been like having a new player. Some good points from OP. People were worried about losing Bonham, but that didn't happen. Then the rumour mill on Sercs. Ditto. Ok, so you could say that not losing people is hardly that positive, but certainly could be worse.

All good points and good positives.. I just wish we could have snagged a winger as well, it’s the only thing I think is a shame from this window

Who’s Rodwell Did we sign him in the window Isn`t it that place in New Mexico, where they found an alien?

Who’s Rodwell Did we sign him in the window It’s Jack Rodwell, and GC met his target of finding the only player capable of doing less than Payne and Bennett.

I certainly think we are in much better shape than we were on 1st Jan overall, and totally agree that not losing the key folks some expected us to is a kind of victory. Not so sure about being OK, as in reality our direction has been set over the longer term. Hoping for the best though and really encouraged by Tuesday performance. Today at Southend is massive as indeed are the next 16. hard to see where we will get the 20+ points we need but 3 today would be a good start given the next few games we have

Would have been an OK window if we had added a reasonable left midfield/winger. At present the squad is a player missing if we want to play 4-4-2 and that limits our effectiveness.

This has been far from a ‘good’ window, we haven’t signed a proven striker or winger, so not sure where the goals are going to come from to keep us up.
Positive to keep Sercombe and Bonham but both will be off if (when) we go down, same goes for THD.
Good to ship out Bennett and Payne both must be high earners but we’ve haven’t replaced Bennett, we’ve also lost Mo Baghdadi.
Lets hope at least 2 attacking loans come in next week otherwise I can’t help but think we’re heading down without a fight

Have you changed your mind after this win - there’s goals in this team in my opinion and being shared out which is always a good sign

We left it so late again before any activity, why does this always seem to happen. I dunno what these Coventry blokes will be like but basically we'll be doing very well if we stay up. That's not to stay coughlan isn't doing the best with what he has at his disposal. Who knows a few weeks and it might look a lot better.

GC's clearly decided the LW spot is Sercs, as there's now no other spot available across midfield for him, if we need pace THD can take his place and Kelly or J Clarke can take his LB role.
We've two decent players for every position now we don't really need any more players just sat on the bench or in the stands/at home, Slocombe, Leadbitter, Sinclair & Matthews were already doing the latter yesterday.
