GC saying in his post match interview that he has seen the playback and Lockyer was clearly punched off the ball. Hopefully the FL powers that be will do the necessary. But not sure where they would get the evidence from to do so. IFollow footage no good...not sure what other recording device is available to have caught it.

How to turn a good, positive result into a negative!!!! Take a bow Sir. I'm turning the penalty miss into a negative yeah. What exactly is wrong with that? Other posters have posted videos of him doing the exact same thing for Rotherham. The performance was good, away from home to a club going for promotion. Well done. Im still not going to apologise for being watered off because we should of won after missing a penalty like that. Its squeaky bum time for us, and its the make or break time of the season. I just hope that isn't costly come the end. Fingers crossed. No, your turning the good, positive result into a negative.

I think you are mistaking him for Lockyer. Lockyer was guilty of rushing out of defence with the ball, panicking, then blasting it to nobody. I am not however confusing him with Upson. Think we had better agree to disagree as I can not remember Upson blasting the ball unless it was absolutely necessary. I thought he and THD were the pick of our bunch and yet again Sercombe failed to deliver a performance anywhere near what he did regularly last season

Great point away to a top 3 club, in a tight game, penalties and an own goal, 95 mins of graft and half the posters ignore all of that and focus on one kick!
Before Xmas we would have capitulated after the own goal. The whole club has a different feel to it now. More resilience.
14 games, 18 points should see us safe. Great game now on Saturday for the lads to look forward to, another “big” team who aren’t quite firing on all cylinders. Wouldn’t be surprised for GC to set up as if it’s an away fixture from hearing the press conference the other day.
“that’s Portsmouth, that’s third in the league, what have you got to be frightened of between now and may?”

We played well with a real battling performance. It was never going to be pretty football but they did manage some flowing passes in the second half. Pity he missed the penalty but I hope he learns from his mistake. I await Steves match report and will be amazed if he doesnt give everyone at least a deserved 7. Hard to pick MOM as they all gave 100% Cant wait for saturday as unlike the recent visitors to the Mem Sunderland will want to play football UTG Nah, Lockyer will get a 4

I thought upson was terrible. Say we slightly edged Pompey tho away so not all lost How can you say anyone was terrible tonight ? Stunned ! Because the standard of football from both teams was terrible in my opinion. We’ve got an excuse as 4th from bottom but god knows what theirs was

So most of the England team are a "disgrace" then ? there is only one disgraceful person on here and we all know who that is Have most of the England team blazed it over the bar in that manner? Waddle is the only one I can think of off the top of my head, Feel free to tell me others I may have forgotten. And yes, Waddles was a disgraceful penalty. Attachment Deleted

All credit to graham coughlan though of course the job is not done yet. He's made us a more rugged competitive team and faint hearts are unlikely to get many games with him. Its early days but ogogo and clarke-harris seem to be streetwise and tough boys and the whole team are up for the fight. I just feel encouraged by the new found grim determination and hopefully we will see it yet again on saturday.

Frustrating penalty miss, but a fair result overall. A fit THD is far too good for this level. Is he signed up past this season? I'm very confident we'll stay up now.

Was a brilliant display from the team today, it wasn't pretty, but there was fight and people putting all they could in.
Shame we missed the second penalty, but I am sure most of us would have accepted a point before kick off.

If it is I wholeheartedly apologise. Its up there with one of the worst penaltys I've ever seen, Puncheons for Palace, and that famous one involving Henry and Pires beat it, mind.
