This whole comic relief 'white saviour' thing is actually unbelievable.
How is he getting away with these comments?

Probably one for the General Chat board but completely agree with you. The man is a disgrace. Perhaps Comic Relief should withdraw from helping Africa and find another charitable cause to benefit from their efforts? Lammy can then take over the Africa funding - I'm sure he'll be popular once they realise he's cost them millions in aid. Did I read he was invited by Comic Relief to undertake a visit to Africa to film one of these segments but didn't bother to respond? Moans about the "white saviours" but doesn't want to do anything himself. Complete A Hole. |
