Mildenhall 7 great save from Norwood Leadbitter 6 i would play him right wing Parkes 5 solid but passing still poor Trotman 6 up against a wily old pro had his hands full Martin 4 poor Clarke 4 just not up to it Mansell 5 watches the ball sail over his head most of the time, should play through him Gosling 4 wasted on the right, just keeps coming inside Taylor 4 had enough of seeing him miss chances Cunnington 5 slow and weak, wins flick ons but it's a guess where there going
Harrison 4 i just don't know what to make of Ellis,he has the tools, but seems to lack the football nouse to go with it
DC 4 same old tactic
Refs 1 awful
Greeners 6 very professional to put it politely

Mildenhall - 6 good shop stopping today but poor with crosses
Leadbitter - 6 better than Lockyer at full back but still needs to concentrate more - unlucky with the sending off Trotman - 6 Solid as normal shame about the miss Parkes - 4 needs to man up against the big boys
Brown - 7 my man of the match up to his normal standard
Monkhouse - 3 Waste of space the time he was on Mansell - 5 hard working trying to do 2 peoples jobs Clarke - 3 Dire and easily bullied of the ball Gosling - 3 One dimensional and to predictable
Cunnington - 3 bambie on ice today to much time complaining not enough getting stuck in
Taylor - 5 ran them ragged at times but that don't score goals
Subs: Martin - 3 Another waste of space today Harrison - 5 did ok with the very little service today White - 5 Again not enough time to impose himself on the team
DC- Was he there today Ref(s) both did not have a clue with FGR's antics Forest Green - better than some teams but very poor at the back

Mildenhall 6 Made a good save in the first half, not at fault for the goal.
Leadbitter 5 Terrible first touch throughout the game which ended up costing us in the end with the sending off. Trotman 7 Another solid performance, pity he never got his second half header on target. Parkes 6 Solid defensive performance, but passing dreadful again. Brown 6 Usual solid game.
Monkhouse 4 Very poor passing yet again. Mansell 6 Battled hard in midfield but out numbered. Clarke 2 Complete utter waste of space. Gosling 3 Awful today.
Cunnington 5 Battled hard, but his lack of pace is so obvious. Taylor 4 Going downhill fast. Not good enough today. Need's a spell out now for his own good.
Subs: Martin 3 See why he got left out the starting line up. Very poor. Harrison 4 Looks cumbersome, poor control of the ball and runs into blind alleys too much.Missed a sitter as well. White Not on long enough to judge.
DC 3 His poor signing's are starting to run out of luck. Ref(s) 0 Both diabolical... Forest Green 5 Nothing special, average at best.
At the end of the day this result has been coming. We have been scraping results now for weeks and DC has been happy to take the plaudits. One defeat in ten might sound good, but in reality this Conferance League is a very poor division, and any side, even remotely organized stands a good chance of getting some success. We should have still secured a draw today against very mediocre opposition, with the second half chances we created, but once again we paid for our woeful poor quality.

Mildenhall 6 Leadbitter 5 Trotman 6 Parkes 5 Brown 5 Monkhouse 3 Mansell 5 Clarke 2 Gosling 2 Cunnington 4 Taylor 2
Martin 2 Harrison 2 White not on long enough to score DC. 5 Until I heard his aftermatch interview, downgraded to 2! Forest Green. 6. Very professional streetwise performance with Parkin and Coles making all our signings look like Downs league quality. Men against boys I have to say. Our players are so green it is embarassing to watch.

I know what you mean Bideford - Do you remember when at the start of the season he said I will always be very honest about how we perform and say it how it is - well I can't hear that any more!! I have also been concerned how in recent weeks he has been bigging up the opposition before games too !

Mildenhall 6 Some good saves, why kick most of the balls upfield to no effect
Leadbitter 4 Good going forward, defensive play could be better Trotman 7 Solid game, should have scored Parkes 5 Can do better Brown 6 Good game
Monkhouse 2 Not good enough Mansell 6 Hard on your own in midfield Clarke 2 Not good enough Gosling 2 Not good enough
Cunnington 3 Did not have a good game, but needs the correct service Taylor 2 Runs and runs, should have scored, not up to it
Subs: Martin 2 Not good enough Harrison 3 No effect White ?
DC 4 Must have known FGR would try and rough us up, we were powderpuff in midfield and up front, DC needs Sinclair back ASAP Ref(s) 1 & 1 Played into FGR hands, not strong enough, Forest Green Played exactly how I thought they would, took advantage of weak officials

We've flirted with being that bad all season imo and we are lucky to be as high as we are. Prior to yesterday we have played poorly and still won or drawn. Yesterday we got exactly what our performance deserved.

Yesterday we got exactly what our performance deserved. I don't think you can say we are lucky to be where we are. The table doesn't like after all those games. However, I do agree that defeat was coming the last few games as we have been poor for the past 3 home games at least. The difference yesterday was that we were playing another team who has ambitions of getting out of this league. The ironic thing was though is that we created more chances than a lot of games this season but just couldn't put any away.

To be honest apart from Mildy, Leadbitter and Trotman no-one deserved more than a 2 for the first half where FGR did not just shade it they ran the show (and until Leadbitters run and cross we offered no threat). So... Monkhouse declares on 2 but the others improved their marks for the second half showing and yes we did miss four chances where we had beaten all the outfield players and just had the keeper to beat but I have seen us capitulate and create quite a few less chances in a MONTH, so I've got to say the second half performance actually left me feeling quite upbeat so...
Mildy 6 Leadbitter 7 Brown 6 Parkes 5 Trotman 7 Gosling 5 Mansell 5 Clarke 5 (think people are ignoring the amount of running he did and a lot of the chances involved him doing a decent job) Monkhouse 2 Taylor 5 Cunnington 6
Martin 5 Harrison 6 White -
Ref #1 1.5 Ref #2 0.5
DC 5 -substitution decisions were made for him by circumstances as were the latter formation changes so you have to mark him on the way he set the team up which clearly played into FGR's hands
MS & SY 7 some real passion and drive from these two urging the players on to their 2nd half exertions.
Crowd 8 showed the team more commitment than they were showing in the first half. Stayed with the team despite constant disappointing finishes.
FGR Well Luke Rodgers impressed me as always but the rest were much of a muchness 6.

Mildenhall - 5 - At fault for the goal for me. Should have held the initial free kick then not the best punch from the resulting corner that they scored from. Distribution was average but he did still make some crucial stops. Especially from Norwood. Leadbitter - 6 - Still not sure about him as a defender but he looked one of our better attacking players until the red card. Trotman - 6 - Did well against a physical FGR attacking threat and he wins 90% of the aerial challeneges he goes up for. Distrubution still lets him down at times though and he missed a sitter from a corner towards the end. Parkes - 6 - Battled well and made a couple of good runs forward once he got moved to the right side of central defence following Leadbitter's red. Brown - 7 (MOTM) - Can't really remember his man beating him and he supported the attack well. Monkhouse - 2 - I appreciate he picked up a knock very early on but I thought he was awful. Far too often he seemed very central leaving Brown to do the work of 2 men both offensivley and defensivley and his work rate seemed non exsistent, although that may have been to do with the injury. When he did get in a good position to cross, I don't think one found their target. Mansell - 5 - A quiet game from him in the middle where FGR seemed to have a lot more of the ball. Did put a few good tackles in though and a couple of decent set pieces. Clarke - 4 - I know he is a young local lad who is come up through the ranks but this season, I don't think he has been up to scratch. If he is to play in central midfield, I think he needs to be 1 of 3 in there. Still tried to get forward when he could though although I can't remember a meaningful contribution from him. Gosling - 4 - Lot's of effort but doesn't seem to have a right foot on him. Got into lots of good crossing positions but every time he cut back in and the defender seemed to deal with it. Cunnington - 4 - Probably his worst game I have seen him play for us. Okay, the balls up to him weren't great at times but nothing seemed to stick. Probably should have done better with his header at goal (was that his only effort??) Taylor - 4 - Continues to work hard but continues to fail to deliver as a striker. That 1 on 1 that he skied could have changed the game. He seems a really nice guy but his lack of goals is really costing us.
Martin - 4 - I was really pleased when Monkhouse came off and Martin on but he didn't improve us that much. He kept the natural width and led a couple of break outs with his pace but his crossing was not up to scratch and he should have at least got that diving header on target. Harrison - 5 - Offered us something different up front when he came on but wasn't too effective against the big centre backs. Seemed to worry them a couple of times with his pace and running at them but was largely quiet. White - N/A - Not on long enough to get a rating but I seem to remember him having a decent left footed effort that forced a svae and won us a corner.
DC - 6 - Didn't agree with his decision to start Monkhouse or Taylor but was brave when we went down to 10 men and were playing 3-3-3 by the end I think. To be fair, that team seemed well set up for the second half and it isn't the managers fault that players can't tuck away the chances created. Ref(s) - 3 - Probably the worst ones yet. Lot's of bad decisions. Forest Green - 5 - A pyshical side who play to their strengths. Didn't look great in the secnd hald though.
