Anyone going to sponsor a member of staff? What next, turnstile operator or pasty seller of the year? If I sponsor the turnstile operators for the east stand, will they actually press the button so I don't smack my knee every week?

Why not sponsor Jim, the guy who runs the Butcombe Bar? He's a Gashead through and through! And he's good at his job.

I cannot see this on either BRFC or BRSC website.
Can I sponsor the Chairman or the new CEO?

I have pledged to sponsor my Mrs. She currently helps with the food preparation for the youth team during week and has various positions in the catering and cleaning Dept's for about 10 years.
I think this is a good idea.
There are several long serving staff members who do a lot of work and often don't get the recognition.
Kay and Claire in the shop etc. Think about the extra hours they work in the lead up to Wembley etc and the ear bending they get when systems go down or the team is playing poorly.
Andy Rodgers in Irene's kitchen is the longest serving staff member at the Mem, I think, (pre Rovers)or maybe Alan (caretaker/handyman?) who opens up and locks up on match days - probably 6am start and 10pm finish.
Not sure what sort of figure the club are really looking for but how about the forums sponsoring Kay and Claire? No doubt it is real people like these who help us feel like a family?

At first I thought it sounded desperate by the club trying to get money for old rope but it is true, there are some hard working "real" people who do their bit for the club, who do deserve recognition. (Pity it is the lazy money grabbing attention speakers who get mentioned on here).
Adam and Matt in the community trust do a fantastic job. The pitch has been excellent ( but we have spent so much on it, it would be difficult for it not to be).
Don't know Foley? the kit man but he seems to be held in high regard.
Pity Keith Brookman is still not there as I am sure he would be high in the rankings if we had an Employee of the Season.
Yeah Kay and Claire deserve high praise.

I'd like to sponsor the man who pokes the pitch a bit with a fork just before kick off.

The Lift Attendant in the west stand needs a sponsor. He'll be gone by the end of April. A lot of ups and downs in that role

Can I sponsor Bidefordgas please ? Yes you can. I will send you my bank details so you can transfer me some of your hard earned cash. Stay unbeaten to the end of the season and then you can name your own price. For starters 50 quid to the charity of your choice if we do.
