I can't believe this www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47641056a side who were well in the top six and after 9 games in charge (his first was against us in Feb). W 2 D 1 L 6. so 7pts from a possible 27 !! I think DC would do a good job there - with their attacking flair.

That's not something DC did in great abundance

Weird decision, especially when their chairman literally says in the statement: "results on the pitch haven't been what we've hoped for"... LOL.

Have never cared about them but since Evans has been sacked they seem to have imploded and messed up all their chances. At one point they seemed to be free scoring and fighting for automatic. Had bought a few as normal and it seemed to be working. Bad winter and the spring with Ferguson doesn’t seem much better, will struggle to get into the play offs now. Perhaps now that it’s clear they are not going to go up the decision has been made for another clear out ready for the new signings that will come and MacD needs a manager to do the hatchet stuff. UTG!

This mans CV shows 3 promotions at Peterborough, like Higgs they are trusting him this season and next.

Maybe Posh have got this right?

Maybe Posh have got this right? I was reading Ferguson profit and loss on transfers, it’s staggering, he’s made them millions. Let’s also not forget he also won promotion at Doncaster so he’s achieved success twice. Having Ferguson back is no different to Wael bringing DC back next season or in a couple of years. We talk about Ferguson’s name, at lower league level he hasn’t brought any shame to the family name and if anything like Lee Johnson proved he has ability to manage as well.
