We've had a good run of results and the players have clearly worked very hard to achieve them.
Perhaps GC tried to freshen it up a bit tonight, but it's gone badly wrong and as I said earlier it probably demonstrates the value of Sercombe and to a degree Nichols. We just haven't been able to get hold of the ball without them.

I would imagine that was a tounge in cheek remark. GC’s done well so far okay we’re losing but we ain’t going to win every game,DC v donny 0-4 and we ain’t lost yet tonight 🤔 |

Is GC actually planning to change something or is he happy with this performance, like he’s happy with the stadium ffs? What the f can GC do about the stadium? I don’t know, I didn’t say he could. You often reply to posts where your reply doesn’t really make sense. But anyway if you can’t make the connection, GC said when appointed he was happy with the stadium. We are quite clearly totally disorganised all over the pitch. It clearly looks like we were beaten before we kicked off. They waltzed through us at will at the Mem and it would appear we have not forgotten it. Reilly needed to and should have scored. I just don't get why you'd change a system that's worked so well. Getting back to basics has helped us turn the season around. . Yes agree totally ... I get why Sercombe was dropped as he has been playing in slippers for weeks now ... strange to change the shape though especially against one of the better teams in the division. That said it won’t be tonight and Saturday that save our season ... it’s the four games immediately after. If tonight wakes us up for those games then so be it ! |

I would suggest that all GC needs to tell his players at halftime is that they are allowed to tackle.
Backing off from the opposition half to your own six yard box is not a recipe for success when playing football.

They pass the ball to each other all the time. We manage it once every so often before giving it back. Seems like our formation tonight is the wrong one for this opposition too.

oh dear - outclassed for 35 mins. Bonham and THD - a f**king asleep !!! THD was AWOL for Plymouth's first on Saturday too. I'm surprised Kelly isn't on the bench. Perhaps he should be recalled for Saturday - he is more likely to be in his rightful defensive position than THD. |

I said during and after the Wycombe game that Cogs had made a mistake playing none of either lines sercombe or Nichols as they are our three most creative players and without them it doesn’t matter who you’ve got up front it’ll just come back at you because the creativity isn’t there.
Same again tonight I’m afraid.
Doncaster have been very good but our forward play has been so sh** and lacking any kind of creativity it’s ridiculous.
