Wycombe have 8 games, you missed Charlton at home (after the Pompey game) - not sure it will make much difference if your points predictions are correct

Said before in previous versions of this thread and I'll say it again - get Luton out of the way and that four-game run-in from Bradford to Rochdale is MASSIVE. We should be safe before Fleetwood IMO.

To clarify, I mean figuratively not mathematically. I think by the final two games we should have enough points between us and the bottom four to stay up even if we lose to Fleetwood/Barnsley double-header - more so when you consider that a lot of those below us play each other too. FWIW, I'm confident we'll get 7+ points in the aforementioned four-game stretch.

Better home form under GC, we can beat the lowly sides at home.

If we can't beat those then we bloody deserve to go down!

If we can't beat those then we bloody deserve to go down! Yeah, unfortunately we'd have Accrington, Southend, Wycombe, Walsall, Scunthorpe, and Gillingham, on that list, too. Just goes to show, all we'd really have to be is not completely sh** at home against these teams, and we'd be nowhere near the rele zone. With draws against Shrewsbury, Oxford, and Plymouth, Wimbledon is the only bottom 13 team we've beat at home. Statistically (in this sense) looks like our best chance of a home win is against Luton and Barnsley.

I really think Wimbledon will stay up. They are on such a roll of form.

I really think Wimbledon will stay up. They are on such a roll of form. lost 4 -2 at home to the Gills last Saturday - so the bubble may have burst and they are still in the bottom 4. However, I think they still have to play 4 teams around them.

I really think Wimbledon will stay up. They are on such a roll of form. They got thrashed 4-2 by Gillingham on Saturday and now face an intriguing game next at Scunthorpe, whoever, wins that one could be the team that stays up. Not sure where this confidence is coming from that we'll beat both Bradford & Rochdale in consecutive home games given that we've only beaten Blackpool at home in 2019

Was going to post the same. I’d like to say should but you’re right Topper it is could. Whatever word we use it will be very, very close. I’ve said all along just because you win 2 or even 3 in a row, as we and others have done, lose or fail to win in 2 or 3 games and you get dragged back into it. I just couldn’t predict who will go down because form at the moment is so inconsistent for most sides. I’d hoped that Saturday would be a free game insofar as we would expect to lose but it wouldn’t matter. Now we need to get a good performance at least and a point would be great. But whatever happens we will still be in a big fight and those 3 April games will be vital to get a win and at least 2 draws. UTG!

9/1 us to be relegated on Bet365. Are there 4 with shorter odds? UTG! Loads with shorter odds, including Plymouth. We were 12/1 to go down, before the weekend.

Just done the predictor on the Grimsby forum thefishy.co.uk/football-calculator.php and got the final table below, leaving 1pt separating 6 teams & 2pts separating 7 teams, it's going to be incredibly tight down there come the final game. With our good GF we should be well clear if we can get to 51pts. 16 Southend 46 -12 50 17 Plymouth 46 -19 50 18 Accrington 46 -20 50 19 Scunthorpe 46 -22 50 20 Walsall 46 -19 49 21 Rochdale 46 -34 49 22 Shrewsbury 46 -13 48 23 AFC Wimbledon 46 -26 45 24 Bradford 46 -28 42
