It does beggar belief that the accounts to 30 June 2018 still haven’t been signed off and therefore cannot be sent to shareholders even though the date of the AGM has been announced. There again this is Bristol Rovers we are talking about. The level of incompetence is staggering. I’m involved with a company at present who are hoping to announce our financial results in less than a week and we are still in the middle of auditing our accounts as we have multiple 3rd and 4th parties and there are discrepancies between what we say we’ve paid them and what we owe and vice Versa ... I’ve spent months so far continually going through bank accounts and invoices and files sent by the 3rd parties etc..... I think people seem to think it’s like just checking your own current accounts .... there is so much more involved and so many legitimate reasons why there are delays which are nothing to do with the club. My company did an accounting audit and then auditors came in and came up with a different figure (not massively ) but meant it had to all be gone through again jointly with a fine tooth comb... so far it’s been 5 months work!

I've sat on the audit committee of three PLC's and this sort of time delay - over ten months - has never happened. Six months maximum to sort out audit findings and resolving discrepancies sounds about right. Not sure who actually runs the finances in the club after Steve Brookfield left at the end of the 17/18 season. Would have thought the Jordanians would at least have a grip on the finances, audit process and accounts, given they are in financial services themselves and are 93% shareholders. So this has a nasty smell to it.

I know there are doubters but I did give a real clue in another thread seven months ago which in due course will prove that I really am correct. And I have all along pleaded for people to be patient. Difficult I know, in the current circumstances, but that remains the case. Whilst you and I may come at things from a different direction I am sure we have the same aims for our football club. So the future is bright now? If so, why did you start this thread with: "do we still have that support? and are we still solvent?" One minute you appear to be questioning if we're about to go into Admin, the next we're apparently getting a new ground. Do you have a split personality or something? I can see why you think this does not equate - but you will in due course

Presumably there could be some awkward questions at the AGM either way.

Not that I know of, although I still rely on third party reports on here. Should have bought some shares years ago.

It's Gaschat, SSU, I don't take anyone seriously apart from Scooby who is the most sane on here (relatively speaking anyway 😉).

After the last AGM the "Top Table" were VERY unhappy at some of the questions asked and the implication of those questions. I can assure them that this years AGM will be a "bit lively".

Never known a more attention seeking bloke/women to grace this place. Spout absolute rubbish and sadly people still fall for it. Must get a kick out of it I suppose

You are entitled to your view of course and that is surely the point of a forum - but to be clear I base my view on the facts that I know - and believe that most Gas supporters will be happy in the not too distant future and I have consistently suggested that supporters 'wait and see'. The easiest stance on any subject is to be negative, as you seem to be, so I would ask you - what do you think the future is for BRFC? immediate and long term?

Hi quartered, a shareholder, held various support positions (never paid), and most importantly a passionate fan who wants the very best for BRFC.

That's the trouble with you, you don't post facts.
All you have been saying for nearly a year now is "most Gas supporters will be happy in the not too distant future" And "wait and see" Tell us, where are the facts in this???
Anyone can say "wait & see" Because eventually we will have new owners, then you can say, told you so.
But to try and tell us what you have said is factually correct is B.S!!!
Please tell us these facts that you know of.
