Weatherspoons are closing or selling 16 pubs across the country including St Georges Hall in Redfield,
cheap beer, cheap food but cant say I like them or the git who owns them.

Oh no, Weathspoons are shutting the Queens hotel in Newport as well.... A few people who have caught the train to Newport will have memories of this place. It's basically where the police hold captive travelling football supporters before they march you through the streets and over the bridge to Rodney parade....
I find it quite ironic that in order to reduce violence at football matches you get locked in a cheap pub at 11:30am. Not that I was complaining as it was my intention to lock myself in there for 4 hours anyway....
