This is a fantastic opportunity to put some distance between us and the relegation zone given the way results went on our favour early today.

Revert back to the diamond & tried n tested away day game plan. Dig in, grind it out and pinch the first goal. We all know it’ll come from JCH on his old turf, three points would be enormous going into the next 3 matches.

3 points would put us 13th , confident, with loads of teams below us all of which would have a worse goal difference than us and only a complete psychological breakdown in the team would then see us relegated.
Zero points would put us right in the crap , only two points clear with 5 games left and without a win in ages.
Strange season.

Tomorrow’s our biggest game since the conference play off final/ daggers . Would have thought beating D&R and getting promoted was a bigger game, plus nothing is going to be won or lost tomorrow it really is just one of the 6 cup finals left this season. Actually winning a home game next week will be more important. |

Fired up can end badly, but if Ogogo can break things up without getting in trouble and JCH can bang one or more in then we’ll be very nearly safe come 5 o’clock tomorrow. |

Will get pelted for this but in a weird way, yesterday's results have taken the buzz off this one slightly. It's far from the end of the world if we even lose.
I wonder if yesterday's results will impact how we play? If everything went against us yesterday then we'd be more reliant on going for the win but results were, a draw would be a good result.
Having said all that, I will stick to my original prediction, a 2-1 gas win to hopefully pull me away from Pirate!!

Our survival could well hinge on our results against Bradford, Wimbledon and Rochdale. JCH and Ogogo would miss all 3 if they got a straight red this afternoon.
If we lose JCH for those 3 we're in serious trouble.
I think it will be tough this afternoon. Discounting Blackpool who are a point ahead but played a game more, Coventry are the highest ranked side in L1 we've beat this season and in truth that game was won when they switched off for 15 minutes and we scored 3 goals. They actually looked decent for most of the game.
I'd be delighted with a point and no suspensions.

They've won 16 , drawn 9 , lost 15 So looks like they are a win or bust team , hopefully with the stadium troubles they have we can make it 16.9.16 |
