That's not the point, you used Scouse as a derogatory term which was why I asked. You could say he's an "English c*nt" or "British c*nt". They're both factual statements too but people would only ever say that as a means of being derogatory towards English or British people. zzzzzz Just a question that's all. I'm not offended, just I think it's not really necessary. No need for the zzzzz's, but I'll leave it there.

Joey barton and others like him have an advantage in any confrontation as he is totally comfortable badly hurting other people. Everyone who knows anything about him knew this managerial stint would sooner or later end up with barton assaulting somebody or other. Yeah, but doing it in the tunnel has deprived the great british sporting public of decent entertainment.

I find him really interesting!!
So there, I've said it. Had the confidence to go question time and held his own, did a philosophy degree and has anger issues.

Yeah he’s definitely a personality in sport that gets the headlines, intelligent bloke that’s a complete plonker some might say twat and I think they’d probably be right, , very aggressive , decent footballer , became a manager ( very surprising I think ) but doing ok at it judging by fleetwoods league position. Very strange character and the media obviously love him.

Could you imagine him taking a swing at GC The Joey Bartons of this world don't take swings at men like GC. It would be a friggin blood bath. The Bartons of this world generally reserve their bouts of violence for people smaller than themselves, and who they feel confident of beating. Nothing but an aggressive coward really.

His behavior was discussed on Quest EFL program, appears there are quite a few witness to him laying out the Barnsley manager. As Barton was leaving the ground he was stopped by Police Officers. I presume he was arrested for questioning, cameras were stopped by some bodyguards from filming at that point. Must be unsettling for Barnsley and Fleetwood players, hopefully Barton will be charged put behind bars, Fleetwood need to man up and sack the psycho thug, he should be banned from the game. Football is a passionate game , this thug sets a bad example to fans of the beautiful game.

'I punch, therefore I am (a thug)' - Joey Barton I heard it was a head butt that knocked two teeth out...if true and charges pressed might be enough for an ABH charge which could easily mean time at HMP

"Police investigating Joey Barton ‘tunnel attack’ arrest man on suspicion of racially aggravated assault" that's about as serious as it could get for Barton, what a plonka! www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/8883943/police-make-arrest-alleged-joey-barton-assault/"Section 29(1)(c) creates the distinct offence of racially or religiously aggravated common assault. A person is guilty of this offence if he commits a common assault which is racially or religiously aggravated within the meaning of section 28. This offence is triable either way. A person guilty of this offence is liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or to a fine, or to both, or on summary conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum, or to both (s.29(3))."

Good news for us then as Fleetwood will probably be mangerless for our game, such an event could have a detrimental effect on their players.

It can only take place at the Magistrates' if he pleads guilty. Which I'm guessing he won't, being him.

The blokes a total bell end. You just have to watch his pathetic attempt at putting on a french accent following his debut for Marseille.

The fuller position is this for an either way offence.
Accused appears before Mags and is asked for indication of plea. Mags look at the facts and decide whether their sentencing powers are sufficient. If not they send it to Crown Court. If they decide their sentencing powers are sufficient they will allocate the case to the Mags Court. At that point the defendant can decide to go to Crown Court anyway.

Just go straight to public castration, it’s the only way to stop him waving his willy around all the time!
