Amazing achievement to come back after the injuries he has had. He must have outstanding mental strength and motivation to put himself through all the re-hab and hard work, re-inventing his swing, as it isn't as though he needs the money.

Why is this here, use a golf forum. Some things transcend parochialism.

Why is this here, use a golf forum. I started a thread on this as soon as he sank the decisive putt. It's where it should be. In General Sport.

Why is this here, use a golf forum. You could have just chosen not to open the thread after seeing the title

I think he's eclipsed Nicklaus for both the greatest of all time and also the greatest comeback win of all time which was Jack at the Masters in 1986.
What an era we've been privileged to witness in the past 20 odd years - Bolt, Messi, Ronaldo, Warne, Tendulkar, Lara, Federer, Nadal, Tiger, Sinclair.........

Not even after that astonishing overhead kick v Barnsley in the FA Cup? Even his nephew Stuart can't do that sort of thing.

Btw anyone who says this is the greatest sporting comeback of all time clearly hasn't been watching Moussa Sissoko this season...
