Are we now going to get a summer of more silence from the board, what is going on with the ground, there have been people working so hard behind the scenes for so long now surely there must be a plan. I am sorry to disappoint you singupgas but there are no scenes for anyone to be working behind, they simply don’t exist. The reality about owning a football club is that you have to have surplus funds, a large amount of cash, which you are willing to risk and can afford to lose if your dreams don’t materialize. Douglas Mearns-Milne and friends had some cash which got us into the Championship in 1974. Martin Flook and Barry Bradshaw had some cash but they couldn’t keep us in the Championship. Denis Dunford and friends had some cash which got us back into the Championship but we couldn’t stay there. Nick Higgs had some cash but didn’t spend it wisely and after a bumpy ride we ended up in League 2. Our current owners are not willing to risk any cash.

It will take longer than this to hear anything. Clubs that have the land, take years to draw up plans. We have to find a site first. Even if we have found a site, they wouldn't tell us, until plans had been drawn up. I think they were looking, I'm hoping that still are and are further forward than most think.

Making a point of what you accept or don’t accept. I can change it to poverty if you’d like. The point is valid, AF do you accept racism? You didn’t answer my question. Sorry, I didn't realise it was a proper question. I certainly don't go on the internet and tell people I don't accept racism and anyone who accepts it is the reason we still have it.Also that's a sh** analogy coz we all get to be racist if we want, we don't get to run the club even if we want to. I will though. I don't accept racism and anyone who does accept it is the reason we still have it. Same goes for Homophobia.

Daniel, I admire you’re optimism I really do. Even though I’m watered as a fart I still wrote you’re instead of your which shows I mean business. But can’t you see Wael has completely lost the plot ? Martyn Starnes and Steve Hamer must be thinking, is it worth £70K per year to keep up the facade ? As we stand today it is all a question of how the sale of The Mem is negotiated and whether the new BRFC have a chance of at least surviving in the football league.

Daniel must be a family member, no fan can be so loyal to this board with this great vision of nothingness. Interestingly, Wael, posted "full steam ahead"in his Instagram post from last game of the season, in response to someone saying the club is going nowhere. Has anyone asked Wael what that means? Full steam to where?

Nowhere fast.
It is a sorry state of affairs, but that is honestly what I think.
Until we seem some serious movement in our 'off the pitch' situation then nowhere fast is actually about as good as we can hope for.
Stadium - Stop Bs'ing us! Give us some actual tangible information rather than the now party line of 'we are exploring all avenues' & 'We cannot say much due to the sensitivity of the agreements' bla bla ! Can anyone name a team in the football league with worse facilities than us and no plan in place to either move or redevelop? I am struggling!
Training Ground - Pretty much the same as above! Just tell us the truth! If the decision has now been made that we will never have a training ground on the land then tell us so.
I am now sick and tired of the same old same old BS coming out of the club.
We just want a little hope!

They abandoned that ages ago in favour of saying nowt.

Not sure why people keep saying we’ve lost too many of the old team? They got us out of the conference and then league 2. It would be very unlikely that all those players would still be good enough 2 divisions higher. 1 or 2 maybe but not all of them. I’ll always be grateful but they can’t go on playing for us indefinitely. UTG Remind me a big part of our down fall last time we got relegated out of this league. We sold Rickie Lambert.

If only it were nonsense Topper. We all have a clue what the Al-Qadi family’s intentions are because they keep handing us clues through their words, actions and inactions. But each individual fan must decide whether or not to read those clues and then whether or not to post their own opinion on the forum. Will you be one of the “Tonis” who say “but The Mem was only on the market for twenty minutes “ ?

If landing lights are on was alluding to Filton Airport then full steam ahead must be Avonmouth. The last bloke who said that f*cked off to Liverpool with his steamers.

He just doesn't have the funds to back that ambition up is my assumption. He obviously had an ambition to get the club a large scale training facility to bring us to the next level behind the scenes. What he didn't have was the sense or the funds to see that ambition through. I almost feel sorry for him except for the fact that I am bitterly disappointed with his and his family and colleagues lack of foresight and lack of sensible planning.
