Tony ‘Millwall’ Craig has only just turned 34. If this is old (on or off the pitch) there is absolutely no hope for the rest of us I was thinking that😂 I must be ancient then at the ripe old age of 36 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Funny thing about football. Gone are the days of swimmers retiring at 21. They go on until 30 now Tennis players don't retire at 30. 36 or so is common these days. But footballers, as ever, once they reach 32, have had it. Even if they haven't really.

Wasn’t Neville Southall in his 40s before he stopped playing professionally?

Stanley Matthews played his last game for Stoke in the top flight at the age of 50 in a 3-1 win over Fulham!

There’s plenty left in lines I reckon. One of the best playmakers in the lower divisions over his career and personally I would have offered him a contract but if Cogs hasn’t then he’s the boss it’s up to him. Will be interesting to see who’s going to get things going creatively next season though because we’ve missed that creative player so badly this season and very nearly went down because of that. If we continue with the upson Clarke ogogo sercombe midfield and JCH’s super goals out of nothing dry up then we’ll be relegated by April. That I would put my mortgage on.

I don’t care what happens next I’m just blown over by the fact we’re being rumoured to buying someone so early on instead of tumble weed and dc claiming on deadline day signing leftovers for free he’s got what he wanted....

You could always go and knock on the door of the portakabin at the training ground. When GC answers tell him you think he’s wrong . See you in the next life Socrates!

Joking aside , no problem with lines being released but in my opinion every team needs a creative midfielder and we currently don’t have one. I hope his replacement is better.

Bristol. A little known corner of the world, last visited by pirates in the 16th century. So untouched by modern civilisation, it is believed that the local tribes have divided into two totally separate human races. One is thought to worship a mythical king and fear for the day he abandons them, because they have no other way to feed themselves. The other race, so rarely seen that we can do little but guess about them, are rumoured to wrap themselves in blue rags and chant in an unknown language about their saviour Yoo-Ee.

This was reported that he was ‘set’ to sign, however people now saying he would rather go up north so maybe this won’t happen after all.

It depends, no one up north might want him, or we just might be paying more
